C Section Congestion

I didnt know this as ive had 3 c section babies. My meant to be December 25 baby was prem but is really congested and hasnt got rid of it but my December 22 baby never was congested after birth

Hi there, mine was born mid Dec via elective CS and also remains congested. Although CS babies can be congested and mucousy in the first few weeks the mode of birth unlikely to be the cause of nasal congestion now. My baby is quite refluxy and it’s the spitting up of milk as well as the dry air (especially at night) that’s causing the congestion. I find that humidifier in the room with an essential oil helps, as does some vapour oil in a warm bowl of water near the cot.. and the nose sucker thing whenever they are bunged up
