7 week regression? Is it a thing?!

Yes, my little boy went trough this… it happens between 6-8 weeks mark and can last a few weeks 😴

I had the exact same thing at week 7! Omg what a week. Cried many times. Apparently it’s because at week 7 their hearing and eye sight improves so they’re suddenly more aware of everything which is obviously a lot so they’re suddenly struggle getting to sleep especially in the daytime and just want you to basically help them feel safe. I’m now 4 days into week 8 and he’s been much more like himself this week. Back to being my lovely little boy and sleeping much better. We did make one adjustment that’s been working really well. He was getting overtired where he was being like that in the daytime and not sleeping like he normally would be so in the evening around 6:30-7pm when he starts showing tired cues I’ve been taking him upstairs into his room and changing him, putting sleep sack on and feeding him and putting him down to sleep up there with a baby monitor and then bringing him up with us when we go to bed (he has been staying asleep for like 4-5 hours like this).
