Are people still sleeping in the same room as their babies?

I know it’s a very personal choice and it’s recommended to until they’re at least 6 months old but our baby can definitely sense we’re in the room and overnight especially during their light sleep, I’m convinced I’m waking them up. Have you noticed any improvement to their sleep if you have decided to sleep independently?

Still in with us, just moved him into full sized cot. Will move him in January as think December will be enough of a break from what he is used to.

Mine is in her own room and has been for 2 months. She prefers it and the during the heat wave our room was a sauna.

Do what's best for you

Waiting until 6 months and at the moment she’s in a cot by the spare bed where I currently sleep - but very excited at the prospect of even some of the night back in my own bed.

My baby is only 3 months old, I have next to me and he will sleep the first hours in his bed. Then around 1am he will wake up for a feed and I take him in my bed with me and we co-sleep until the morning. To be honest... I think I will co-sleep with him for as long as we can! 😅

Still in our room, when he moves out it will be to share with his brother so we will keep him with us until he’s reliably sleeping through (so maybe forever…?)

Just so you know, the recommended time is 6 months minimum to help reduce the risk of SIDS. I waited 9 months last time and hated it, I wanted him back next to me 🤣🫣

Breast milk jewellery

Has anyone turned their breast milk into jewellery? I’ve seen ads for stores in Canada and the US but would love to know if anyone’s used a uk jeweller and
get some recommendations.

Stressed with a crying baby

Mums, I’m honestly at the end of my wits with the crying 😭

My little one is 8 weeks old and lately he seems to cry so much. I’m finding it really overwhelming and stressful.

I feel awful saying this, but I’m finding it really hard to enjoy motherhood at the moment because so much of the day feels like trying to settle a crying baby.

For anyone who went through a really fussy/crying phase around this age — when did it start getting better for you? I just need some hope that this phase does pass. 🤍

Feeding out and about

Hey ladies.
I am only breastfeeding my baby and I would like to go out for a longer walk/shops, but I don't feel confident breastfeeding outside. So I am seeking some advice on how I can feed my LO with breast milk only in public. Thank you.

Bedtime

What time are people putting their little one to bed for the night ? Struggling to know when to bring his bedtime earlier or if we should just go off the time that he wakes up from his last nap?
