11 month old only lasting half the night in his cot
Every night my 11 month old goes to bed in his cot fine. He does a fairly good 4-5 hour stretch and then wakes. Sometimes I’m lucky and he settles himself, sometimes I just need to lay him down or rub his back to settle him. But other times it’s a case of holding him until he falls into a deep sleep and transferring him.
Some nights I get lucky and he stays asleep for a few more hours but more often than not he wakes again 30-60 minutes later and we start the process again.
Then when we get to around 3/4am I’m so exhausted I take him into either my bed or my step sons bed to go sleep and the second he lays down he falls asleep! Even if I’ve not laid next to him yet. I then sleep next to him and get up at 05:30 and he continues to sleep all the way through until 7/8am
I used to think he wanted me, but the fact he can fall straight asleep without me even laying down next to him tells me differently. The only difference is the duvet/fleece blanket I put over him
How can I stop this need to go into a different bed part way through the night?

He’s not even 1 give him a chance my son is 6 and half and still comes into my bed at night
My almost 14 month old is like this. She comes into bed at around 3am. Before I used to spend an hour rocking her back to sleep, now I don't bother. I've been trying to stop but sleep is better when she's in our bed. I just think she'll be 13 before we know it and when I get to 85 I don't want to look back and regret forcing my crying little baby to sleep in her bed when she clearly needs me for comfort. Maybe I'm just a pushover!!! Perhaps try and train him but you'll get sleepless nights, and it might not even work. Some of us need comfort from our family more than others, it's just nature. The alternative is that you think about it in a positive light and carry on part co sleeping.
I solved this by taking mine out of a cot into a proper bed, slept fine ever since x
Both mine went in at 11/12months. They couldnt get comfy in a cot and kept waking up. They would get stuck against the bars so i got a bed guard and put them in a proper bed and they sleep amazing now x

Nursery settling in period
My LB has been settling into nursery this week and is doing amazing. Only cried once when we re-entered - can't lie I felt a bit betrayed having been on mat leave with him for 11.5 months but I digressed. Anyway for the last two three days he's been waking up 6am instead of 6.30am. Is this normal? Also they only do one nap at nursery at midday. He still has two naps as if he's awake for too long he becomes really fussy and whiny until he goes to sleep so I'm worried how they will transition him to one nap. Also, his nap is just before the time he needs to be nursery each day for settling in between 9.30/10am. Oh and for the first time ever he refused his bedtime bottle last night. Would love to hear your experiences and advice please.

I’m so excited and trying to get organised but not sure if I’m rushing. All advice welcome❤️
1. I’m having an elective c section what after care bits were actually helpful? Are the silicone patches worth it when did you start using and what brand is best? Was a peri bottle still necessary for cleaning the downstairs area or not?
2. Maternity bras. What ones would you recommend and also when did you get them I was thinking of getting them pretty soon but also not sure if they’ll fit by the time I need them or did you just size up or waited till closer to the time?
3. When did you start washing baby clothes and packing hospital bag? I pretty much have everything we need already so I could pack now I just don’t know if I should wait. Same with washing babies clothes etc I plan on washing all newborn and 0-3 months initially then bigger sizes closer to when she’ll actually need them but I still have 8 weeks how early did you start washing clothes and organising drawers etc?

My daughter was a late walker at nearly 20 months but this one is determined to climb, cruise, move at not even 9 months. Any tips on helping him move around safely when I’ve got him and his sister (3) to watch?

I need a bit of solidarity or some tips because I’m TIRED 😂🥴🤪
Baby boy is 4.5 months, 5 months next week and for the past 2-3 weeks we’ve suddenly been waking up every 2 hours through the night. Sometimes he wakes because he wants feeding, other times he just wakes up crying and needs resettling. It’s not gas.
What used to work for my husband doesn’t seem to work anymore either, so most of the time I have to get up, pick him up, cuddle him and sometimes feed him to get him back down. He’ll wake up every 2 hours like clockwork and I’m honestly exhausted.
During the day he’s grand. He’s a regular short napper but he’s happy, smiley, smart and great kid, so I really don’t want to complain because I know these phases pass and I know he’s a blessing. But I am definitely sleep deprived and tired at the moment and I think I just needed to acknowledge that too 😂
Did anyone else have this around 4-5 months? Did it eventually settle on its own? Any tips for getting through it or helping them resettle without needing me every single time? Mostly just looking for solidarity from other tired mums

Sleep regression
Can someone please tell me this gets better 😭😅
My baby was sleeping really well and now his sleep is completely chaotic, he will go to sleep initially but then 3 hours later he’s making noises, crying out etc and then it’s every hour after that!😭 he can fall asleep on his own most of the time so I don’t understand this and what I’m meant to do. He’s 13 weeks old but I’d say the disrupted sleep has been happening for the past 2/3 weeks.
Anyone else? or anyone else been through this and know when it ends/how to help it?

Bassinet to pram seat?
When did you make the change? Nearly 4 months old and naps in her pram, she woke up today and decided to roll over in the bassinet 😂 Is it time to put the chair on? :(( she’s probably more than ready, I however, am not 😭
