Feeding times

Hey, I'm exclusively breastfeeding my little girl who is 8 days old.
I'm using the Huckleberry app to track feeds so I can stick to the 3 hours until she regains her birth weight but I've noticed she was feeding for around 3 hours 30 mins average for a few days but it has been going down, like Tuesday was 2 hours 43mins and weds was 2 hours 23 mins and then today is only 1 hour 43 and I dont expect she'll have more than another 20 minutes before midnight when my clock starts again.

Is this normal due to transitioning from colostrum to milk coming in full flow? My milk came in Sunday.

My LG had dropped 10% of birth weight on day 5 and gained by day 7 to 6.6% under so she has been going in the right direction but now shes having less time again I'm worried shes not having enough.

Any ideas or advice on this?

This is I would say sensitive.
And the paediatric would be a better choice

CPS?

Something’s wrong with me. My LG was wailing & crying & screaming & all I did was watch. Didn’t feel like picking her up to comfort her & still don’t.. should I just turn myself in?

Imposter Syndrome

Does anyone else feel like you have imposter syndrome being a mom?

I had my first a couple weeks before I turned 38 and I had already accepted I wouldn't have kids (not by choice).

I remember going to my appointments feeling like I wasn't as pregnant or really pregnant like the other patients in the lobby were. I often catch myself feeling like this isn't my life and I'm playing house my child. I love him so much, but I feel like this just isn't real. He's 15 months so I've had time to come to terms.

Has anyone else felt something like this? How did you get over it?

Brest feeding 6 months plus

Hi. Silly question but how does people navigate Brest feeding when baby gets their teeth? I never made it this far while b feeding my other two so I’m not sure what the next stages will look like.

Long night wakings and exhaustion

My 4 week old wakes once/ twice in the night. Problem is that the wake period is really long. It’s not that he’s awake for the whole time, but he struggles to get comfy again in his next to me. It often means I’m awake from about 2-4am and then he wakes again around 6 and we don’t get back to sleep after that one. We don’t get to sleep until around 10:30/11 as that is when he has his evening feed. My toddler is also waking in the night too sometimes. I’m so so tired that I can’t think straight and I’m also doing nursery runs/ looking after a toddler at the same time as a newborn and just feeling really overwhelmed. My husband helps out but he’s back at work and is knackered too. Is anyone else having similar issues?

Nap times

My baby girl is currently 14 weeks old and we have been struggling with naps for a while now. We manage to get her down a few times a day however she does not sleep longer than 30 min.. I know this is the length of a sleep cycle so it is normal but she l never seems to be fully rested especially in the afternoon. She often wakes up looking tired but refuses to go back to sleep, or if I hold her and rock her to sleep there is no way of putting her down again. The evenings are a battle because of it as she gets over tired. Any tips or advise on how to lengthen her naps?
