Hi everyone and congratulations. How is everyone doing and how far along are you? I am 8w5d with an IVF pregnancy at 43 yo. Still very anxious but having weekly reassurance scans. Not many symptoms, just occasional nausea and had to buy a new bra 😂

congratulations and enjoy just feeling nausea as throwing up isn't for the weak lol...enjoy the first 6 months of pregnancy and dont be worrying about omg my bumpnl isnt getting bigger because believe me when it gets bigger its a pain in the butt it gets in the way of everything lol...im 28 weeks so just 11 weeks to go on tuesday thank god though if your offered the glucose test dont be worrying about it and dont read to much into it as I did and it wasn't bad at all it was 3 sets of bloods and a capri son drink so dont believe google though alot of people react different but just go in with a clear head and just keep your mind positive threw your pregnancy as thats what I had to do with having a misscarriage in june our bodies are built for this you have got this 😃

I’m 5 weeks today- found out at 8dpo so feel like I should be due any day now 🙈😂
We had a miscarriage in January so a little nervous about everything going well.
I’m 39- we had our son after 16 years of infertility he was a surprise for sure and we have been lucky enough to fall pregnant quickly when started trying for another.

Finally packed 🥳 but still no date?

Today I have finally packed my hospital bags 👏🏼 38 weeks on Monday and 3rd baby so a bit late but I’m due a planned c section at 39 weeks although I still don’t have a date and im stressing.

Really don’t want to go into natural labour myself before and end up in an emergency section. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Is anyone else still waiting for a date??

Did you/will you take your 2 year old out of nursery when your second baby arrived?

I feel bad leaving my October 2024 baby in nursery 2 days a week, when I'll be off on mat leave from mid December for my late Dec/early Jan baby. But time alone with baby might be good for us?

Did/will you have yours home with you or continue their usual nursery/childcare routine?

26 weeks glucose test twins

I know a lot of people are generally scared about this test, but honestly, in my experience today, it was straightforward and not bad at all . The drink was thick and tasted like soft lemonade with a taste of honey towards the end (I don't know why it had the aftertaste, but it was a good drink) 🤣

I just felt tired after towards the end (obviously sugar crash), then took my second lot of bloods, then I was on my merry way.
So I spent most of the day resting and trying to just keep myself distracted and ended up never getting the phone call amd my results came back normal so overall I'm happy about that and I hope this post might ease people's anxious thoughts about the process but you got nothing to worry about. Again, my experience was different, but everyone's experiences to the test are different, and that is normal, too, btw.

But let me know how you guys get on with the test.

Nervous

Has anybody ever had a chemical pregnancy and felt so nervous to try again because the thought of having another one if so, how did you guys overcome the fear of wanting to try again but also nervous enough not to want to because July 31 I found out I was pregnant and August 14. I ended up having a chemical pregnancy and I really want to try again but I’m just anxious because I don’t want to experience that kind of heartbreak ever again.

36 weeks and 6 days

So I'm 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant and I am 2 cm dilated. Hopefully my little girl will hold out a little longer until the first of October since we will have money for gas for the car then. Only 8 days way. Hopefully it's slow progressing.

When to start buying baby stuff

Hi all, when is okay to start buying some outfits and dummies and you know just little things? I am 13+1 weeks today and we had the 12 weeks scan which was great and we also got back our NIPT test which indicated no problem either.
I had a miscarriage earlier this year (in June), so I really don’t wanna jinx baby boy or make it into a huge thing.
