Finally packed 🥳 but still no date?
Today I have finally packed my hospital bags 👏🏼 38 weeks on Monday and 3rd baby so a bit late but I’m due a planned c section at 39 weeks although I still don’t have a date and im stressing.
Really don’t want to go into natural labour myself before and end up in an emergency section. 🤦🏻♀️ Is anyone else still waiting for a date??

My advice to you about getting a date is to keep contacting your midwife teams once you have the birth consultation appointments. I called them every day until I got mine
Waiting on an induction date with my second! All packed as well and dreading natural labour lol. Currently at 37+5 and expecting a call later next week
My hospital doesn’t call you to let you know your date until the Friday before your 39th week. So it’s pretty last minute, but they said since moving to this system they rarely have to switch people’s days. I think the more the date is given in advance, the harder it is for the hospital to stick to it.
I got told Tuesday this week at 38+4 and I’m having my c section on Tuesday 29th at 39+4 so literally a week before! Xx
I'm 37 weeks, and I've been given a 5 day window for my c section. They will call me at 39 weeks and confirm the exact date apparently 🤷🏼♀️
I only got my date less than a week out!

When to start buying baby stuff
Hi all, when is okay to start buying some outfits and dummies and you know just little things? I am 13+1 weeks today and we had the 12 weeks scan which was great and we also got back our NIPT test which indicated no problem either.
I had a miscarriage earlier this year (in June), so I really don’t wanna jinx baby boy or make it into a huge thing.

26 weeks glucose test twins
I know a lot of people are generally scared about this test, but honestly, in my experience today, it was straightforward and not bad at all . The drink was thick and tasted like soft lemonade with a taste of honey towards the end (I don't know why it had the aftertaste, but it was a good drink) 🤣
I just felt tired after towards the end (obviously sugar crash), then took my second lot of bloods, then I was on my merry way.
So I spent most of the day resting and trying to just keep myself distracted and ended up never getting the phone call amd my results came back normal so overall I'm happy about that and I hope this post might ease people's anxious thoughts about the process but you got nothing to worry about. Again, my experience was different, but everyone's experiences to the test are different, and that is normal, too, btw.
But let me know how you guys get on with the test.

Nervous
Has anybody ever had a chemical pregnancy and felt so nervous to try again because the thought of having another one if so, how did you guys overcome the fear of wanting to try again but also nervous enough not to want to because July 31 I found out I was pregnant and August 14. I ended up having a chemical pregnancy and I really want to try again but I’m just anxious because I don’t want to experience that kind of heartbreak ever again.

Did you/will you take your 2 year old out of nursery when your second baby arrived?
I feel bad leaving my October 2024 baby in nursery 2 days a week, when I'll be off on mat leave from mid December for my late Dec/early Jan baby. But time alone with baby might be good for us?
Did/will you have yours home with you or continue their usual nursery/childcare routine?

36 weeks and 6 days
So I'm 36 weeks and 6 days pregnant and I am 2 cm dilated. Hopefully my little girl will hold out a little longer until the first of October since we will have money for gas for the car then. Only 8 days way. Hopefully it's slow progressing.
