Positive test yesterday - negative today

My period is due today, I’ve had two positive results, one faint line a few days ago and a strong positive yesterday - however when I tested again this morning it was a solid negative, this morning I used an ‘early detection’ test as that’s what I had left in the cupboard. Has anyone else experienced this before? Now I’m questioned whether I am actually pregnant or whether I’m just waiting on my period to arrive.

From what I’ve heard it’s easier to get a false negative than a false positive. It could’ve been a dodgy test you had so I’d maybe get a new one and retest tomorrow morning if your period didn’t arrive x

Obviously not an easy subject but this is what happened to me when I had my chemical pregnancy. I do hope this isn’t the case for you. Of course it could also be because you have just tested very very early. If your period doesn’t arrive in the next day or two test again and see what happens. Good luck ❤️xxx

Trying for baby number 2

When we decided to try for baby number 1, I was already pregnant. We have now decided to try for baby number 2 and I just wanted peoples advice on what worked and if they took anything to help conceive. I have irregular periods so I’m a bit more anxious.

Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT)

After BP checks came back higher than normal, I was sent to maternity triage for further checks. My bloods came back fine except ALT which was at 35. Normal range is 0-34.

Has anyone had experience of this and what does it mean?

I have two further BP appointments booked for Saturday and next Monday. I’ll be 29 weeks tomorrow.
