I’m a chef by trade but never for a baby 😂 ok so I’ve been weening my daughter since 4 months old she’s had purées and has been smashing them since the first day, for her 6 month “half birthday” we made her a whole stake and she’s refused to touch the purées since, I ordered a baby cook book but it’s only got recipes for 10 months plus. Best solid foods to give my 6 month old? She won’t even eat the fruit purees anymore the stake has turned her savage 😂 thank you all! Xx

Give the woman steak! It's clearly what she wants 🤣🤣🤣 no advice, just here to say good luck. I'm really struggling with this too xx

Most things that are labeled with ages are based on the traditional weaning by starting with puree so even though it says 10 month plus is likely ok to give baby from 6 months of following baby led weaning instead.
Just ensure food is cut and served appropriately for baby led weaning.

At 6 months, they're just exploring... textures, smells, tastes etc. I personally don't think you need to do full on meals at this age but everyone's different. Milk is still their main food.
I came across this ladys account recently to help me wean my LO when hes 6 months. She does 30 days baby led weaning... this is the link for the day for steak but check out her other days. Best account I've seen as she explains everything so well and its not full on meals https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1AEFSQbLqf/

But some are saying that the actual steak is good for babies to chew on, so go with what you feel is best for your bubs... As always, lots of conflicting advice lol

The solid starts app is great! Tells you each ingredient individually about how to serve them and the recommended age
