I started soon as she could walk, 10 months, when I put her in child care they returned her to a pull up so that she could pace with the other children

We started at 13 months just as part of our routine. (Wake up, before bed, before going out). She's now 15 months and has started pointing to her diaper and saying "pssss". We put her on the potty and she'll most of the times go. She's still 100% in diapers. We're thinking about seriously potty training around Christmas when she's 18 months

We started getting used to it at around 9 months, we’d sit her on it every nappy change and in the morning when she got up. We officially potty trained at 24 months

2 years 10 months old. She was accident free after 3 days with very little input from me, I would always recommend waiting.

My daughter turned 2 in June, still not yet potty trained, she shows so many signs of readiness but doesn’t seem to quite get the sensation of needing a wee yet. Going to try again next month after our first holiday abroad 🤞🏼🤞🏼 honestly if she’s not potty trained until closer to Christmas when she’s 2.5 I’m not going to stress too much x

Advice needed.

My husband and I got married 5 days ago. We have been together for almost 5 years and have an 18 month old. 3 days ago he went through my phone and saw texts from the first year of our relationship with my ex. I continued communication with him and met up with him for drinks one night. Nothing happened between us. I cut communication off that same year. My now husband wants nothing to do with me. I’m absolutely gutted that a younger immature version of myself has ruined my marriage 3 days in. I don’t know what to do.

I love my husband and my family and I will do absolutely anything to save us. My husband had already said he wants nothing to do with me and doesn’t see this relationship worth saving because of it. I have no one to talk to about this because I’m embarrassed that we just had everyone together to celebrate our marriage and now less than a week later I’m talking about the end of it.

My behavior back then did not carry over into my relationship further. I said goodbye to my past and went into a beautiful relationship of learning, growth and love with my now husband. How do I come back from this especially for our daughter? she doesn’t deserve this, she doesn’t deserve to see me crying everyday and her dad absent in another room. The 3 of us were so close, did everything together now he can’t even look at me. I’m sick.

Am I in the wrong?

We were supposed to be going to my nan’s today for her birthday.

My sister messaged this morning to say her kid was a bit poorly when they woke up this morning so we decided not to go.

Reason being, we don’t like putting our daughter in front of illnesses knowingly because she suffers enough with what she catches from nursery (she’s 25 months). This week all week I’ve avoided going into the office knowing a colleague of mine has been ill. Also
this month we lost over £200 in our pay from unpaid time off because our kid couldn’t go to nursery so we had to stay home with her (who was made sick by their kid because they lied to us and said she didn’t have anything wrong when she had a stomach bug). Our family don’t help us out, not even with babysitting.

Our family are now treating us like the bad guys because we refused to go. They changed their minds about them being poorly after giving their kid medicine which was also after we said we weren’t going.

Were we in the wrong to protect our child and our finances? We’re really struggling because of losing that money in this months pay and I have a car MOT coming soon where I’ve already had to forego the servicing because we can’t afford it. We’ve taken loads of hits in pay that we just can’t afford to do anymore. But also my depression and anxiety have really taken a toll this week so I’m on heightened alert for anything or anyone making my child sick.

Boyfriend going out

Is it just me being silly or is this ridiculous, basically my boyfriend has always gone out with his mates on a night out dead early and I mean EARLY I’m talking like 2pm/3pm until the early hours of 3am and I had this argument with him that we have an almost four month old baby girl and that he should start thinking that it’s a ridiculous time to go out and he agrees it’s long but his mates have always liked doing that. This by all means doesn’t mean I have a problem with him seeing his mates or going out but when you have a baby who’s still tiny doesn’t it just seem absolutely absurd??? Like when can I ever do that?? I don’t do at all, I’m probably being stupid but it’s just bothering me as he’s out now and I’m at home with our baby.

Partner with seizures

Hi, this might be a bit of a niche topic...

Has anyone else got a partner (or other family member) who suffers with seizures?
My partners seizures are really severe. He's had them for years (since getting jumped by a group of knobs on a nightout). He has medication for them but still gets them anyway. Before our son came along they were maybe once every 3-4 weeks. And since our son has come along (14 months ago) they've been almost every week. And sometimes a few days in a row. I've lost count how many times I've had to pull his tongue out of his throat.
They happen more when he's tired or sick. Which seems all the time with a baby.

Anyway, my point is, when he has a seizure he can cause a lot of damage to anything and anyone around him. And I'm terrified he's going to have one when I'm not around and it's just him and our son, as he won't understand what's happening and will get hurt.
Also struggling when he has one, to keep our son away but also make sure my partner is safe and still breathing.

It's a lot of weight to carry and I'm just wondering if there's anyone else who is experiencing something similar? As I don't know anyone in this situation and would love to talk to someone who understands.
