My 4 month old has started waking up within 5 mins of being put down at night, he will cry and as soon as we pick him up he’ll fall straight asleep so he is tired and don’t think lack of tiredness is why he’s waking up. I know he’s using us as comfort but previously he’d been able to go down at night well and have a longer stint. We are going through the regression and teething at the moment so could this play a factor? We are putting him down 7/7:30 so can’t stay in bed with him from then!

My girl is doing the same at the moment, I persevere with the pick up/put down method every times she wakes until around 3-4am then I cave and she sleeps on me for the rest of night x

Mine used to do this when she was younger! Ofc she wasn’t teething yet but she did have silent reflux and we were advised to elevate her crib by putting books under the legs to make her sleep at an incline and it worked wonders. I also let her sleep on me for like 10-15 mins or until she’s in a deep enough sleep so it’s easier to transfer her into her crib. We also put her down at 8 instead of 7 now, I’m not sure if that would make a difference for yours but it did for mine. I hope this somewhat helps! Xx
