Baby movements

I'm 31+6, and last night I felt less movement. Usually they are quite active. All night I was feeling and I got 1 it 2 small moves. I woke up and spoke to my husband. He tried pushing around my belly, not too hard, but to try and get movement. It took over 5 mins and I got a couple of moves... We had been on quite a busy day the day before and I had gone down a slide(whether that makes any difference). This morning still feels like less kicks. I feel I may be overreacting though. I've been really bad at figuring out my baby's full routine, I'm usually so busy rushing round, house stuff and 2 boys, and maybe some moves are so subtle that I don't feel them?...I feel like a rubbish mum already!

Firstly - I bet you’re a great mum! Don’t let those thoughts sneak in. I also find if I have a really busy day baby gets tired and doesn’t move as much but trust your gut instinct. Midwives would always rather you go in and get checked even if baby is absolutely fine, check and you can relax 😊

Go get checked but you are at that stage where baby has less space to move so their movements do change to much softer rolls and stretches than big kicks, you may also find baby has turned its back to your belly which also soften movements, defo ring triage and go get it checked as it's not normal but also try not to stress x

I keep having the same feelings - especially as i keep waking up on my back 🤦🏽‍♀️ if you are in doubt go get checked even if it's just to put your mind at rest 💗

Definitely contact triage even if it’s just peace of mind, and definitely not a rubbish mum at all!

I’ve found it hard to track fully my baby’s routine sometimes I’m out and about, sometimes the movements are light so I don’t notice them as much. But if you are concerned that’s what the triage is there for

April 1st baby! 🩷

Baby Millie arrived 27th March by elective section weighing 7lb 11oz! 🩷 We are still in the hospital as she has jaundice so needed to go under the lamp. Hopefully we are ok to go home today 🤞
For anyone going for an elective section after a traumatic previous emergency section.. it was such a healing experience for me! I got to watch her come out and it was absolutely amazing.
Also for 2nd time Mum's.. your heart will literally double in size and any worries you had will soon disappear.
Good luck April Mamas ❤️

Low laying placenta?!

This is my 3rd pregnancy. I’ve already got low Papp-a and recently had a private scan where they noticed my placenta is low laying. Obviously will find out more at my 20 weeks nhs scan but does anyone have any positive stories regarding this?
Pic for attention💙

To Induce or Not To Induce?

Still waiting on my little boy whose EDD was 15th of March.

I'm now 42+1 and the pressure is starting to build to Induce. I have been planning for a home birth so really would rather avoid if possible but now considering inducing at the end of the week or just opting for elective C Section.

Pregnancy has been super straightforward for me, no sickness or issues at all so feels a shame to need to Induce or C-Sec now!

Still feeling well in myself and movements are good. Not really having any signs of labour besides loose poops for a couple of weeks and a couple of nights with intermittent cramping (after I'd probably overdone it a bit in the garden).

I hear so many horror stories for inducing hence considering the elective! Does anyone have any positive stories or can make me feel a bit braver about hanging on!

My Valentines baby 💙🩷

6 weeks later and i'm finally posting to announce my little baby boy arrived on 14/02 weighing 7lb 8oz!
After a difficult pregnancy, 5 days of stop/start contractions and a very long active labour he made it into this world!
He's definitely completed our family and we've really settled into being a family of 4! Can confirm this is my last pregnancy🤣🤣🤣
