I’ve been home since I was 17wks pregnant. My child isn’t school aged yet but we get outside every day. We go to the zoo, aquarium, mall, playground, grocery stores etc
I get out walking every day and go to the gym 3-4x a week
I just do whatever I did prior to having my son. Just including him is the only difference

Honestly, enjoy it. If you have the opportunity to be a sahm thats awesome. I quit my job when my baby was born and shes 11 months now. But prior to that I was working remote so I was used to being at home for almost 7 years total.
Its tricky at first but once you realize that there's so many different things you can do its kind of awesome. As long as you have the financial support and not have to stress that aspect of it. I wake up early every day, clean and keep busy. But now that my baby is getting older and more independent I started gardening, I take care of our pets and plants, I picked up sewing, you can get into art of some sort, go out to group meets and play dates. Theres lots of businesses now that have indoor playgrounds for kids you can go and mingle with other moms. Honestly I dont care to work ever again as long as im raising kids and i dont have to lol

Okay thank you !!!! I will get my routine down... ❤️❤️❤️

As a former teacher we do different activities every week. The best place to find things that are age appropriate is Pinterest. Remember everything is new to them and excitement is contagious

Bored is something I don’t think you’ll experience. If the kids are at school you’ll find time to do the things that you’ve been putting off, prep for the next day, meal prep, housework, laundry, groceries, self care like workouts showers longer than 5 min., projects you want to work on, Meeting up with other moms with your schedule is crucial!
If they’re at home trust you won’t be bored! So many kids activities to set up at home and different things to take them to see outside the home. Think field trip everyday but simple could be a Fieldtrip to see what a cashier does, how many different types of plants they can collect a sample of from a confined area (that way you can make sure there’s no poison oak/ ivy, my up with moms with kids to do play dates.
So many things I left out
