Changing bottles ?

Hey mamas!

So my daughter is almost 13 months old and we have transitioned from formula to cows milk. She has milk in the morning and before bed. But we are still currently using her MAM baby bottles. (She’s drank from Mam bottle since birth) my question is should we be switching to a “sippy” bottle ideally still mam.

I’ve put a picture at what I think is the one to move to? Or is should it be an actual sippy cup. Does anyone know or have any recommendations

For water during the day we use a straw cup.
I just know something about their developing teeth that they shouldn’t really continue drinking from a baby bottle.

Thank you!

I had a bottle of milk at bedtime until I was five, perfect teeth 😂 I imagine they shouldn’t be falling asleep sucking on it, but same with a dummy I suppose. I definitely did fall asleep sucking on it as a child but it dropped out and subsequently soaked the pillow each night. I wouldn’t rush to get rid of the bottle.

We stopped formula at 13 months and transitioned into straw cups and regular sippy cups. When we give our son milk at meal times we offer milk in a regular sippy cup nothing fancy

Antibiotics and breast milk.

Has anyone taken antibiotics and noticed that it has affected their breast milk? I have been on antibiotics for a week (4 a day) and every time my baby has breast milk she is immediately sick afterwards and cranky. (This was never an issue before being on antibiotics), so I have been pumping and pouring away my milk (which is soul destroying) until I finish the tablets. She has been having formula instead and isn’t being sick with that at all and seems much more settled.

What age do babies start sleeping through the night??

I know it's different for everyone but what age did your baby start sleeping through?

Travel pram

Has anyone used any of these prams? I want to make sure the seat sits upright fully and isn’t really flimsy that my son could fall out but I know these are cheaper prams as I can’t afford a lot so keep looking on marketplace etc

So my due date is in 10 days but obvs we don’t know when the baby will actually come. Anyway, my SIL is also pregnant (after 10 years of infertility) and I am so happy for her when I found out because the doctors had said they may never conceive. So she has her gender reveal on the 26th of April (which would be almost 2 weeks after due date) in either case I wouldn’t feel comfortable attending while newly postpartum and with a newborn baby where there will be lots of people I don’t even know, I said to my husband he should go just with my daughter, which he agreed but mentioned she might feel a certain way. I mean she needs to sort of be understandable, I just don’t want to put my baby at risk, and after I gave birth last time I made myself very unwell thinking I’m okay to go out and about earlier than I should. On top of this, she shouldn’t feel a certain way because in our culture it is crucial for the mum and baby to not leave the house for 40 days, and she knows this. Anyway I don’t think I’m being an Asshole, I just don’t want to put my baby at risk and especially because people from my country don’t know boundaries when it comes to babies (kissing them, holding them, passing them around)

Would it bother you? Hubby never finishes.

So my husband doesn't finish. Not for birth control but he just doesn't finish, he says he can go a really long time before actually finishing. He can finish as we have a child together.

It's never bothered me enough to cause serious problems in our relationship. Sometimes I wonder if I'm good enough in bed? He says he just gets tired. I've only ever been with two guys, my ex and hubby and my ex never had an issue with it. Hubby says he likes it and we have a healthy sex life as in we have sex regularly.

Just wondered if it would bother you or am I overthinking it?

4.5 week old constantly crying

Does anyone else’s baby just seem to do nothing but cry?!! I’m exclusively BF my little one and baby did used to cry but not like this! Over the last week or so baby has stopped falling asleep at the breast and is wide awake after feeds - it looks something like - wake up crying, feed (can be fussy pulling on and off breast and needing to be put back on as still showing hunger cues, either scream straight after and be awake but somewhat content for ten mins, then scream again, baby will eventually fall asleep but for varying durations of time (5mins to 1.5hrs)

Any solidarity or words of wisdom??!! I feel numb and guilty for not enjoying this part of my baby’s life💔
