My husband works offshore so I have spent a large majority of my pregnancy at home by myself. We definitely feel disconnected at times. Especially when I think about him working on a boat and not able to just leave when I go into labor. It gets worse when I become overly stressed so I definitely thing stress is a big culprit. He wakes up goes to work tells me he’s going to be home at four then comes home at six. We eat. I bathe I go to bed and he plays video games until midnight.
