Hi All, I am 37 weeks and 4days pregnant. I have no signs of labour yet. The last scan was at 34weeks and the midwife suggested that no further scans are required.
My question is - Do I have to reach out to the hospital closer to the date or will they get in touch with me ?
Thanks in advance.

As long as youre low risk theyll leave you to go into labour naturally. Your midwife will likely offer you a membrane sweep at 40 weeks to help natural labour start. In the UK they do not encourage labour before 40 weeks medically unless there is a medical need for it aka reduced movements.

Pregnancy can last up to 42 weeks + absolutely normal to have no signs of labour yet.
You should have a 38 week appointment with a midwife, a 40 week appointment and then 41, 42 etc until baby arrives.
You won’t have growth scans now as they’re very inaccurate in the final stages you’d only have a scan if there were concerns about placenta function/ position of baby x

Hey, I had growth scans up to 39 weeks to monitor growth but if your team don’t think you need them any more that’s great ❤️ you can ask your midwife lots of questions re this too x
