Can’t really prevent it. Your hormones made you retain more hair and prevented the natural cycle, now those levels have dropped and all the hair that was supposed to shed is finally shedding. Just focus on supporting regrowth. Take your postnatals and maybe some additional hair support supplements if your doctor okays it

This was the most traumatizing thing that happened to me after the birth of my first that no one told me about. Because of hormones, we stop shedding like normal, I stop shedding completely. For me it was around 3 months, the body releases all the hair it would have shed in a short period of time.

After my other pregnancies I started doing scalp massages and using Indian herbs like fenugreek rinses and amla paste masks once a week. I also added peppermint essential oil to my scalp products. This didnt stop the hair loss but it helped my hair grow back faster.

Cleaning girls privates

My baby is 3 months old, I noticed she was red in between her lady parts. Which would make sense as to why she didn’t want to be sat and kept straightening up her body ☹️ I cleaned with warm water and sudocream.

Mammas with girls, what’s the best wipes? Or do you just use warm water and a cotton pad? How do I keep her little area red free? Does she need a bigger size nappy also? Any advice welcome!

Has anyone else not done the deed after giving birth yet?

I am 13 weekspp and feeling guilty for not spending 'quality' time with my partner. He's been very supportive and that it's just I feel so tired at the end of the day I just don't have anything left in me.

We also have a 3 year old and I do the housework and I also exclusively pump so any free time I have gets taken up. My 13 weeks old girl doesn't like being held by anyone else apart from me or my partner so handing them off for a few hours wouldn't work she also contact naps during the day which is fine as she sleeps through the night in her cot. Once they go to sleep I'm in the kitchen washing up bottles and preparing for my last pump of the day and MOTN pump I don't usually end up going to bed until 11:30pm.

Rock to Sleep? Or Cry to sleep?

not too long ago, my fiancé allowed our baby to cry himself to sleep because our son was tired. I entirely oppose to this way of nurture I despise it. There’s no way that these tiny creatures who were born with no coping abilities are somehow going to go to sleep with no comfort, I find it absolutely neglectful. I wanna share this topic asking for a mothers opinion as well how do you feel about the “cry it out” method does it work? Does it not? What’s your thoughts on it?
