When did everyone start sleeping on their side again post CS? I’m almost 5 weeks, tried it last night again and I just cannot bear the feeling. It doesn’t necessarily hurt but the feeling of ‘emptiness’ in my stomach is all I can describe it as, is absolutely awful and I can’t get my head around it.
I think it’s still in my head as well something can go wrong and it become infected or something, I’m just massively overthinking it!

I started like a week after . Was scared but I had a pillow between my legs and a small pillow hugging my stomach to feel secure

Immediately post op! I just wedged a pillow under my stomach to help support the extra weight and not put too much pull on my incision. I've always been a side or belly sleeper so I had no other real option if I wanted to be comfortable. Also was sleeping on my belly again around 2 weeks post op.

6-10weeks! It felt so strange. I’d try it and move back. I’d keep doing that until I was able to get past the feeling.. it took me a few weeks…

Almost immediately after mine. I am a side sleeper and used my pregnancy pillow. Honestly havent stopped using my pregnancy pillow. Thats one thing that's not talked about alot, how you feel so empty after having the baby. Its completely different having them in your arms and no longer in your belly. It makes me a little sad sometimes and my baby is three months.

About 3/4 days after 😅

Straight away. I can’t sleep on my back, I’m a side and front sleeper normally but front sleep was out of the question as I just leaked onto the bed constantly 🤣

About 6 weeks, I’m normally a side sleeper but just could not bear the weird feeling. So I slept wedged up with pillows 🤣 it seems like you’ll never get there but one day it will just feel okay, use a pillow under your belly until you’re used to it x

4 weeks it did feel weird at first i put a pillow between my legs and it was great! but moving from each side still feels absolutely horrible still at 7 weeks

Oh the same day! Use a pillow between your legs I also used one behind my back to help “wedge” me in. The empty feeling is strange. Hold your stomach as you roll onto your side and when rolling over don’t try and do it in one motion, try to bend your legs then onto your back then on to the side. Take it really slow and really slow movements getting in and out the bed. Don’t twist, roll x
