My little 15 month year old is still fed and rocked to sleep every night. Is this the same with everyone else? When do they move away from this or can I only do that with sleep training?

I fed my son (now 18 months) to sleep for a long time, but decided to stop sometime around 12 months (I really wanted my husband to take more of a share in bedtime). He has a floorbed and so we lay next to him and basically cuddle him to sleep. If you’d told me that would happen one day I would have called you crazy, but by some magic it works. We never sleep trained and stay with him until he’s in a deep sleep and creep out of the room.

We used the comfort ladder to stop feeding to sleep which is basically trying everything else first. Moving on after 30 seconds until they fall asleep.
We lay with her until she's asleep now (she's 3.5) and has only needed a cuddle or hand on her since 10m.
