Would you rather be with someone who is always

always selfish? absolutely not lol. if they always put me first then i’ll just manage my wants to benefit them as well but i’m not gonna be with someone who wouldn’t do that for me.

My Husband pretty much worships the ground that I walk on so I don’t think I would be able to be with some1 who isn’t selfless. I couldn’t be without who is always selfish, let along have a kid with them. Idk if it’s cuz Im a Scorpio bt it was very important for me to find some1 who doesn’t play abt me. I Thank God everyday for my selfless Husband

This is just another perspective in response to a previous poll where the general consensus seems to be “always put yourself first” and “selfishness isn’t bad.” But the only problem with that ideology is that if you’re coming first, someone else is coming second, and that doesn’t always work in romantic relationships. It’s certainly not how I want to be treated in mine. I also don’t think self love = selfishness. So, idk. It’s interesting to hear everyone’s thoughts!

Gotta be selfless, he’s selfless with me & I’m selfless with him, keeps us balanced & feeling wanted instead of just needed.
