C-section Mamas

I had a c-section 2 weeks ago. My incision looks to be healing nicely and I’m not in much pain at the incision site. However, my stomach hurts to the touch above it. Is this normal or should I reach out to my doctor?

Yes it’s very normal my darling, I’m almost one year PP and mine still stings and gets uncomfortable sometimes. You may also meet your doctor for better diagnosis, but after I did my c-section, it became apparent that there is a whole lot we don’t know about life with that scar. Take care mama!!

I had mine on the 30th and just had a follow up today where I brought up the same issue I didn’t remember this from my first one but that was an emergency c section she said it was completely normal and all apart of the healing process the uterus is still healing and organs shifting back so things are going to be tender for a while but it never hurts to contact your doctor if your concerned about something

I had the same thing, it was super tender but at four weeks post op it’s getting much better now. Internal stuff healing I assume 🤷‍♀️

Definitely reach our if you are concerned but numbness and occassional pain or discomfort on or around the scar can be long term.

I have a 4.5 year old and occasionally have a bit of pain.

It's all normal and part of the joy of childbirth lol

C section infection

Hello! I’m currently almost 6 weeks postpartum. For 3 weeks I’ve been dealing with an infection in my c-section wound and it just doesn’t seem to be healing. I’m on my second round of antibiotics and also have a steroid cream but the infection isn’t clearing up and I’ve now noticed that part of the wound has opened slightly. Did anyone else have issues like this and if so, what help to solve it eventually? I’ve convinced myslef I’m never going to fully heal!
