Nappy changes

My baby has just started doing longer stretches at night thank God. But because of that I’m not sure if I should be changing nappy? When she has these stretches it can mean the same nappy on for 6-8 hours! And I always try not let the nappy last longer than two hours (more lenient at night) I’ve changed her on several nights while she was sleep because I worry about her getting an infection or sore. But usually her nappy is dry when I go to change it.
What is everyone else doing. Is it fine to leave the same nappy on overnight ?

Absolutely fine for a nappy to be left on overnight to get full and change in the morning. Enjoy the sleep and baby can enjoy theirs!

I only change every second feed now, because if it’s full of wee and he does a sneaky poop, the poop will leak because it’s got no where else to get absorbed into…speaking from experience

Also I realised when I started reducing nappy changes overnight (use to do it to keep him up to finish breast feeding) he started to get a nappy rash 🤦🏻‍♀️ I should have started putting barrier cream on in anticipation that he might have a wetter bum overnight. I do that now, with the first nappy of the night and then anytime I wipe his bottom because of poop

How old is your baby? I remember worrying about this too 🙈 enjoy your sleep mama.. it’s fine for the nappy to be on. My 16 month olds is on for 13 hours through the night now and never any issues. I remember still trying to change her nappy in her next to me while she was sleeping then I just stopped doing it because it was disturbing her. Xx

Would you help?

Question inspired by some recent polls seen here; would you help a little girl in the bathroom if her dad asked you to?
If approached by a dad alone with his daughter would you help the little girl in the bathroom with wiping/hand washing if asked? Why or why not?

Cleaning up after baby

Okay, so my daughter will eat until full and I'll take her out of her highchair and put her down with her toys and go to sweep up her mess...
Am I the only one with a baby that will speed crawl to where I'm sweeping and try to eat what I'm sweeping up? Like she's 1000% done in the high chair but the second I sweep it up into one pile on the floor she all of a sudden needs everything in that pile and will scream cry when I sweep it into the dust pan? Does anybody else's baby do this??

4 month old sleeping long

My 4 month old usually falls asleep at 10:30ish and sleeps through the night. Today I took him on a walk it was windy but sunny , he slept a bit in the car and woke up when we got home, had a full bottle and played a bit and then fell asleep at 7:30pm. I thought it would be a nap as he has been having shorter naps recently but it’s now almost midnight and he hasn’t woken up yet, my stress is that he’s in a fleece sweatshirt and leggings and I havent done bedtime or put his sleepsuit on, or changed his nappy since we got home 4.5 hours ago. Should I leave him to be in a deep sleep or should I gently wake him to change and then feed him?

I also think the walk or sun tired him out
