The bra is overflowing!

Y’all listen! I’ve been relying on sports bras, bralettes, or going braless. None of my bras fit. I ordered some custom nudes (specifically for melanated girlies) in preparation for my maternity photoshoot and called myself doing my own measurements. Everything arrived on time, but they still didn’t fit 😭. I used to work in fashion design so I know what I’m doing but clearly I needed help. So my husband and I stopped by Victoria’s Secret to get a sizing done. For years I’ve been a solid 33C or 34B. That lady said I was now a 34D! Yet when she got a bra in that size for me to double check I felt like a smoked sausage because it was hella small. So she brought me a 36D and that fit just bearly clinging to the last hooks. Y’all I’m now a 38D! 😳 And I’m only now entering the third trimester! Now I know why nothing fits! Do yourself a favor and go get sized! And maybe not just once, but every time that bra starts overflowing!

I was a 32 A when I got pregnant with my first. I grew to a 36 D during pregnancy. When my milk came in, before it regulated, I was a 40 HH. Once my milk regulated I dropped down to a 38 DDD. That is where I sat until my second pregnancy. I am currently a 42 F and very scared to see where I will sit after everything is said and done 😂😂😂

I went from a 34 band to a 40 band with my first. That rib expansion is no joke.

💕 Breastfeeding hormones – has anyone else felt like this? 🤱🏼

I’m around 3 months postpartum and feel like breastfeeding has affected me more than I expected. I love the bond with my little boy, but my sex drive has disappeared, and sometimes I feel like I’ve lost a bit of myself. 🥺

I’d love to hear from other mums who’ve experienced this!

💗 Did your sex drive come back while breastfeeding, or only after stopping?

💗 Did you feel more emotional or unlike yourself?

💗 Did anything help, or did things improve naturally over time?

I love breastfeeding and don’t necessarily want to stop, but I’d love to feel more like myself again. ❤️

Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated! 🫶🏼

How often are you breastfeeding after baby turned 1?

Health visitor said to reduce so it doesn't ruin appetite for food but just wondering how often others are doing it. Thanks x

Winter sleeping advice

Ok so this may sound like a dumb question but what’s everyone doing during colder nights now? So my room is normally around 21-22 degrees, whenever the temp drops below 21 in the house the heating comes on automatically. With a LO now, I’m finding it hard to navigate, and I’m extremely anxious about overheating. So with the heating on, we keep the babies in 0.5 tog sleep sack with vest and sleepsuit. But as the nights get colder I wonder whether I need to put them in a 1.5 or 2.5 tog so they are cosy during the times the heating is off. But it’s never going to be that cold because the heating turns on anyways… I’m so confused and it’s possible I’m over thinking this but hey that’s post partum for you 🤣🤣 I wake up at night scared they’re over heating sometimes and if I go up a tog, my anxiety is going to get worse. But I also don’t want them to be cold. Please help!! Is it normally one or the other, like either have the heating on or put them in thicker sleep sack? Never both?

TIA x

Bath time

My little one now hates bath time... she breaths really rapid and kicks her legs constantly throughout, she never looks chilled. I took her out early last night because she went red in the face and cried. Nothing has changed, we use one of the bath inserts bevause she hated the sitting up baths when she was new born. Any tips?
