Winter sleeping advice

Ok so this may sound like a dumb question but what’s everyone doing during colder nights now? So my room is normally around 21-22 degrees, whenever the temp drops below 21 in the house the heating comes on automatically. With a LO now, I’m finding it hard to navigate, and I’m extremely anxious about overheating. So with the heating on, we keep the babies in 0.5 tog sleep sack with vest and sleepsuit. But as the nights get colder I wonder whether I need to put them in a 1.5 or 2.5 tog so they are cosy during the times the heating is off. But it’s never going to be that cold because the heating turns on anyways… I’m so confused and it’s possible I’m over thinking this but hey that’s post partum for you 🤣🤣 I wake up at night scared they’re over heating sometimes and if I go up a tog, my anxiety is going to get worse. But I also don’t want them to be cold. Please help!! Is it normally one or the other, like either have the heating on or put them in thicker sleep sack? Never both?

TIA x

You could always get one of those standing fans or the fans that clip on to the crib/bed so they have something blowing cooler air

I don't have the heating on at night as my flat doesn't get that cold it's a new build, so when it started getting colder I went up a tog.
Mine is 2 years old and I still worry about the temperature sometimes 😅 gotta love mum anxiety haha

I have my heating set to kick in during the night if is goes below 17 and only have it so it heats to around 18 that way I can put her in a 2.5 tog and I know she won’t get too warm. The rest of the day it is set to 21. Not sure if that helps at all

Bed time routine

Hey. How do you all handle bed time?
Do you have a set time you try to get baby asleep by? Do you go to bed when the baby goes to bed? Interested to know all the details!

Colic !!!

My almost 8-week-old has been crying almost the entire night 😭 He hasn’t pooed for a day and only settles when I carry him upright. It feels like colic, but he’s never been like this before. He’s exclusively formula-fed. Has anyone else’s baby gone through something similar at this age? What helped your little one?

14 week old/4 month regression?!

The past month, my son has been doing 5 hour stretches at night but recently he’s been needing a feed every 2.5 hours(6oz). He doesn’t wake up crying but instead he thrashes about and digs his face into my body/matress (we cosleep) and that’s how I know he’s hungry. Is this the 4 month regression or what like is he teething?! lol I’m so confused 😭

Bath time

My little one now hates bath time... she breaths really rapid and kicks her legs constantly throughout, she never looks chilled. I took her out early last night because she went red in the face and cried. Nothing has changed, we use one of the bath inserts bevause she hated the sitting up baths when she was new born. Any tips?

💕 Breastfeeding hormones – has anyone else felt like this? 🤱🏼

I’m around 3 months postpartum and feel like breastfeeding has affected me more than I expected. I love the bond with my little boy, but my sex drive has disappeared, and sometimes I feel like I’ve lost a bit of myself. 🥺

I’d love to hear from other mums who’ve experienced this!

💗 Did your sex drive come back while breastfeeding, or only after stopping?

💗 Did you feel more emotional or unlike yourself?

💗 Did anything help, or did things improve naturally over time?

I love breastfeeding and don’t necessarily want to stop, but I’d love to feel more like myself again. ❤️

Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated! 🫶🏼
