My almost 8-week-old has been crying almost the entire night š He hasnāt pooed for a day and only settles when I carry him upright. It feels like colic, but heās never been like this before. Heās exclusively formula-fed. Has anyone elseās baby gone through something similar at this age? What helped your little one?

Look up āpurple cryingā, it peaked at 8w with my first x

Look up āBaby massage for constipation, wind and gasā on YouTube. My little one has suffered with constipation and I try and help him by following this video everyday.

Mine is 5 weeks and is experiencing the exact same š®āšØ itās not easy.. massages doesnāt really help him so Iāve decided to go for Kendamil Comfort Milk (will start today, he was having Aptamil til now). Iām also giving him Infactol before feed which seems to work a little. Iāve heard wonders about Colief Infant Drops which Iāve ordered from amazon and canāt wait to try š„“

Currently tripple feeding because of babyās weight, had on going issues with this for months now. Itās draining & It would be really nice to have some help.
I give the breast, then pump and give a bottle of breast milk, then wind her, the change her nappy, then a bottle of formula, then wind her again, then I try to leave her sitting up for as long as possible so she doesnāt get a bad tummy/allow her a chance to poop (sheās never been able to poop laying down for some reason) & then try to settle her & rock her back to sleep (thatās if she doesnāt need her nappy changing again)ā¦.The whole process can take me HOURS.
We have had quite a difficult baby from the start. From about 6 weeks old her wake windows were 5-8 hours long and when she does sleep, itās only 1-2 hours. She doesnāt give me long stretches. Iāve noticed in her baby classes, a lot of peopleās babies accidentally fall asleepā¦my baby has never done that. It takes me like an hour of rocking and patting her. My mum also said when we were babies she could put us down on the play mat and weād just fall asleep. My girl just is not like that. So after ALL of the feedingā¦getting her to sleep is a mission. Sheās always so wide awake and alert, Iāve tried everything. The only thing that seems to work is her sling. So I use this during the day time but obviously not at night.
My partner wakes up at about 5am for work.
I end up staying awake from that time too to be honest because most of the time baby wonāt go back to sleep. I also have early morning appointments to attend etc. Obviously due to baby not sleeping well I canāt just āsleep when the baby sleepsā during the day. I canāt lay down and sleep when sheās in the sling. And if I get her out of the sling she wakes up. I donāt think my partner understands.
Iāve asked him for help endlessly and explained that Iām barely sleeping & he always says āyeah thatās the way it should be because youāre off work & im notā.
If I had a straight forward baby that I could breastfeed for 20-30 mins then go straight back to sleep then I wouldnāt mind.
This situation makes me want to be one & DONE. He talks about having another baby one day and Iād love to, but all I can think about is how easy he has it yet all he does is complain. But I canāt say anything because he always seems to have it worse than me just because heās working. Although this man gets long lunch breaks, is home by 3pm, naps in the afternoon/evenings because yet again I always have baby. He doesnāt have the baby when heās home. He gets many breaks and many sleeps. I donāt.
But Iām in the wrong if I ask for help and now I kinda donāt want it because he says thatās the way it should be. So if he does help now Iāll just feel guilty and feel wrong.

My husband usually sleeps downstairs on the couch as he prefers the tv on when he sleeps, he also says I snore a lot.. Recently I think itās affecting our relationship so he comes up stairs sometimes and sleeps in bed. My 7 month old sleeps the next to me cot or we co sleep if sheās fussy ( which is often)
When my husband sleeps in bed he snores sooooooooo much and so loud I canāt sleep and my baby also finds it hard to go back to sleep when she wakes for a feed.
I donāt know what to do to keep my relationship good ( just isnāt about intamancy just being able to lay net to each other)
I might cry literally heās snoring now and I canāt sleep thankfully my baby is as Iāve got her next to me.

Hey Ladies, Iām currently 10 weeks pregnant and havenāt slept properly in around 6 weeks. I had a bad back and hips before being pregnant but always found my bed comfy and the only bed I could sleep on however the last couple of weeks I am waking up after crappy sleep literally unable to move, to the point where some mornings I have to ask my partner to pop home from work quickly or my mum to come round just to get me out of my bed. Iām in constant agony no matter what I do. Iāve tried putting a mattress topper on and even currently have two on there which helps slightly but not enough to not be in agony every morning. Iāve tried a pregnancy pillow that didnāt help. Iāve tried sleeping on multiple blankets that didnāt help. I know this is only going to get worse as I am fairly early but any help would be massively appreciated, I feel like I am at wits end here!

Hey. How do you all handle bed time?
Do you have a set time you try to get baby asleep by? Do you go to bed when the baby goes to bed? Interested to know all the details!
