Does anyone else’s baby seem to kick their legs out constantly when relaxing down for the evening? I’ll sit him on me and gently rock till drowsy and he’s so restless and kicks loads

My little boy does this! Constant restless legs kicking around when I’m getting him to sleep x

Sounds like magnesium or ferritin deficiency, worth getting separate supplements. I wouldn't bother going to the GP as it's hell to get them to test ferritin rather than iron, and you can have good iron with trashed ferritin stores.
Which supplements have you used? I’ll order some x

It's just normal iron supplements, it's just once iron is replete for long enough it builds up ferritin stores. GPs are reluctant to test for ferritin as deficiency is rare in the UK. But it shows up in restless legs, poor sleep, early waking, bad mood. Same for magnesium really
My baby boy is 4 months old almost 5 and is formula fed. He has been pooping green for months now and my nurse practitioner didn’t have anything to say about it.. is this normal? He doesn’t complain and is a healthy boy!

After making it this far without giving a dummy, I'm finally caving (no judgement or questions please, just personal preference). Over the last month, my girl has started sucking on 2 fingers constantly to soothe herself and she's making them red raw. 2 people have told me recently that they think she cries more than the average baby and that breaks my heart thinking she's unhappy. So hence the decision to give a dummy... but i have a few random questions. Does your baby have access to a dummy all of the time, or just when you want them to start settling down? Do you find you're constantly waking in the night to put it back in before mouth if it falls out? I don't really want her to constantly have it in her mouth, ideally just to help soothe herself for naps and sleep. I understand there's a risk she might not accept a dummy this far along but with how much she loves sucking things, I think she will. I'm also however worried about creating yet another sleep association with it, as I am already pretty guilty of feeding to sleep

For mums who have been through this before, what did you do with your little one’s bedtime & morning wake up routine / timings when the clocks go back in October? I’ve got a 5 month old and looking for advice on how should I mange the change with her.

The only way my husband can get our 5 day old baby boy to sleep is to have him in arms being rocked or in this swing. He says he and his ex let my SD sleep in her swing for months because she needed the incline for reflux.
Google says baby should not be in the swing for more than an hour a day. But Google also says no cosleeping and I feel like swing or cosleeping might be the only ways to ever sleep.
My husband is wonderful and is taking 8pm-2am and we're barely home and already exhausted. Is this OK?

I am looking for some advice. My baby is 15 weeks old and he does not go down for the night till 12 o'clock.
We are doing night time routine between 7-8 pm depends on his last nap, he goes down for like 30-45 min wakes up crying, we can settle down in minutes but he does not go back to sleep till 11:30-12:00. I am nursing him 1x maybe 2x before he actually goes down. 😅
I tried to postpone the nighttime routine for 9-10 pm and get him down for one more nap; he does the same thing just going to bed at 1 am 🤦🏽♀️
During the day he also does not sleep much. Like 3 hrs in total, but since he born is the same, not sleeping much.
After he finally goes to sleep he has a good 5 hr stretch of sleep which I am very grateful for, but I really want his bedtime to be at 8-ish. Thank you.
