Free kick counter website

Hi lovely mums-to-be! 💕
I wanted to share something me and my brother been working on a simple website to help you track your baby’s movements. It’s still quite basic (a work in progress!), but the aim is to help you spot your baby’s unique movement patterns and feel more in tune with them.

I know there are apps out there already, but I couldn’t quite find one that showed the kind of detail I wanted… I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a data geek 🤭 so we built something that gives a clearer picture over time!

✨ Here’s what it can do so far:
* See at a glance how many movements your baby has made today and this week
* Spot when your baby is most active (morning, afternoon, or evening)
* Quickly log movements with one tap (it uses the current date and time)
* Add movements from earlier by entering the date and time
* Import multiple movements from a text file (perfect if you’ve logged them throughout the day I personally love using this feature alongside the “Shortcuts” app on my iPhone 📱✨. During the day, I simply tap a shortcut on my home or lock screen, even on my Apple Watch to quickly log each movement into a note. Then, at the end of the day, I save that note as a text file and upload it to the website — super quick and easy! 💛 I can provide a guide if you are interested )
* View your total number of logged movements
* Look back at specific days to see totals and busiest hour
* Track your mood alongside movements (this stays private and isn’t shared)
* Share a read-only link with loved ones so they can follow along 💛

I personally use the sharing feature so my husband and mum can stay updated, which has been really special.
If you’d like to try it out or give feedback, I’d absolutely love to hear what you think — it’s still growing and your input would mean so much! ✨

Hmm 🤔 it appears to be nice. GUI and design is great.

However I’d appreciate some insight on tracking kicks. Depending on what stage of pregnancy one is in.. You could use ChatGPT to come up with a useful guide to monitor kick counts which may help moms with logging kicks.

That guide could also generalize and state what’s normal and what isn’t for that stage. Not everyone feels kicks early on. Especially at week 13 or 20.

I felt very gentle kicks from week 26 onwards. They felt like bubbles or something in my tummy. Like I could’ve mistaken it for gas.

Include a daily reminder to check in and monitor kicks. I don’t monitor kicks at all. But if I place my hand on belly, my baby responds to the warmth.

For instance, no kicks can be a sign of lowered activity of fetus which is a useful reminder to visit provider/go to ER.

Some guidance on kick counts will also help. Moms may not know how to monitor kicks counts. There could be a method to it.

Vagina!

Sorry to be graphic but I’m 7 weeks PP and for the first time I’ve looked down there with a mirror and I’m in shock!

It looks so different and I can practically see the inside of my vagina, has anyone has a similar experience?

Me and my partner are going to have sex tomorrow for the first time and now I’m worried.

I would love for my family to meet baby and they will only get a chance to meet baby if baby comes before half term so they can do the 6 hours drive down to us and book an air b&b. We got luckily with my first that she was born a week before Christmas so they got to meet her during the Christmas holidays!
Would appreciate some tips and advices!

Birthday parties on the same day .

My little girl who has just started reception has been invited to her friends birthday party ( this is her best friend ) I got the invitation on Tuesday and have already confirmed to the mum she will be going . I’ve just received another invitation from another little girl from her class and her party is on the same day at the same time so she won’t be able to attend but I don’t know what to say to the other mum as I don’t want to upset them or it to come across as rude .

How would you respond ?

How did everyone get the contractions regular after water is breaking?

Hey guys I’m 40+1 and my waters broke at 3:15 this morning and was given two options.
Option one: was to go home and wait 24 hours and see if my contractions become regular.
Option two: stay at the hospital and go on the drip.
I chose to go home as I am really hoping for a water birth which I know isn’t possible if I’m on the drip. How did everyone get their contractions to start becoming regular and how long did it take. I’ve tried the ball, walks, stair walking as well as just resting and letting my body do its thing. Currently in a warm bath as I have heard that helps.
Please any tips and advice is welcome.

Pain at 18 weeks

Hey! I’m 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I’ve been feeling a pressure like pain, especially when I lay on my side and just makes me worried. Does anyone else have this? I have my 20 week scan on the 28th of this month so not long to make sure everything is okay.
