Hey! I’m 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant, I’ve been feeling a pressure like pain, especially when I lay on my side and just makes me worried. Does anyone else have this? I have my 20 week scan on the 28th of this month so not long to make sure everything is okay.

Dont wait for your scan get yourself checked out at the hospital asap. Its better to be safe than sorry

I would call triage just to be safe. It could be nothing but please dont take that risk

Call your community midwife line during open hours just to double check but honestly some cramping and discomfort is usual unless it's absolutely severe

I had this but had sn appointment next day. Everything was fine but I needed to drink more water

I have this and I’m 19 weeks now I think it’s pelvic girdle pain. I have my scan next Friday so will see
Sorry to be graphic but I’m 7 weeks PP and for the first time I’ve looked down there with a mirror and I’m in shock!
It looks so different and I can practically see the inside of my vagina, has anyone has a similar experience?
Me and my partner are going to have sex tomorrow for the first time and now I’m worried.

I would love for my family to meet baby and they will only get a chance to meet baby if baby comes before half term so they can do the 6 hours drive down to us and book an air b&b. We got luckily with my first that she was born a week before Christmas so they got to meet her during the Christmas holidays!
Would appreciate some tips and advices!

My little girl who has just started reception has been invited to her friends birthday party ( this is her best friend ) I got the invitation on Tuesday and have already confirmed to the mum she will be going . I’ve just received another invitation from another little girl from her class and her party is on the same day at the same time so she won’t be able to attend but I don’t know what to say to the other mum as I don’t want to upset them or it to come across as rude .
How would you respond ?

Hey guys I’m 40+1 and my waters broke at 3:15 this morning and was given two options.
Option one: was to go home and wait 24 hours and see if my contractions become regular.
Option two: stay at the hospital and go on the drip.
I chose to go home as I am really hoping for a water birth which I know isn’t possible if I’m on the drip. How did everyone get their contractions to start becoming regular and how long did it take. I’ve tried the ball, walks, stair walking as well as just resting and letting my body do its thing. Currently in a warm bath as I have heard that helps.
Please any tips and advice is welcome.
