I’m 11 days pp with my second baby, I’ve been on antidepressants (sertraline and citalopram) since I was a teen but didn’t take them during both pregnancy’s or breastfeeding with my first as I started my meds after I stopped but I’ve decided now that I’ve given birth to my second to go back on my meds to make sure my mental health doesn’t hit me like a brick but the doctor obviously went through the risks with me but said it can pass through breastmilk in small amounts and potentially make baby drowsy etc and I understand if I’m starting off at 10mg it’s not a massive amount to start with but it’s still giving me anxiety (ironically), I’m just so worried it may affect me breastfeeding when I’ve been able to do it properly this time.
Has anyone started citalopram while breastfeeding? And how did it go for you in terms of feeding?

Ive been on citalopram (20mg up until 7 months pregnant then raised to 30mg). When born baby had some jitters from the withdrawal for the first 24 hours then was fine. Didn’t notice any extra drowsyness when breastfeeding.

I started Sertraline 7 months postpartum. I was nervous to take them too however I have not noticed a change in my baby and I’ve been on them over 2 months now.

I've been on citalopram since 2018. Didn't stop for either of my pregnancies (have had 2), nor breastfeeding. I haven't noticed anything worrisome with the babies at all.
Hi.
Stupid question as my brain isn’t braining.
My baby is now officially 6m old (happy half birthday!) and I’m wondering what the next step is for using a seat for her bath? She currently has the picture attached and she’s almost grown out of it.
She can’t sit unaided yet, is it the seat I get for her?

Hello!
I am struggling with my 20 months old. She’s amazing but when it’s time to go to sleep she just won’t sleep. Napping is almost impossible and bedtime is eternal. It takes me at least an hour to put her to sleep. If I am not literally next to her, she will cry and won’t stop until I come back (she can cry for 30 mins no problem and never get tired). Also she won’t allow my husband to put her to sleep.
I know this is my fault because I didn’t sleep training her correctly when I was supposed to but I keep trying everything and nothing works. Does anyone have any advice on how to teach her to fall asleep?
Thank you for your time!

So I just need to ask os Huckleberry worth paying for, I need help with my daughter, she has hit the four months stage and last night sent me to the edge, she took over an hour to get her to sleep, I had her asleep around six ISH on me went to transfer after half an hour, and she woke up, checked the app and she needed milk then she went back to sleep around eight ish on me, managed to transfer her to her cot till 10 ISH she had another bottle and went straight back to sleep afterwards but then started fussing around two ISH in the cot eyes closed but whining, I put the dummy in and she went back to sleep and she did this again, still with her eyes closed about half an hour after, then up for four am, had some milk and a nappy change back down near five till eight in the morning, I have been tracking it on huckleberry and wondered if it was worth paying for the premium to get more advice on how to get her to sleep through like she used to, I am going to do a bathing routine three times a week as they not to bathe a baby too much and then I am trying to have wind down times between half six and seven, I am knackered and trying anything but does anyone else's child fuss during the night? Mine does I said before but she doesn't open her eyes or anything so I pop the dummy in to sooth her and try and let her fall back to sleep herself, I watch to see if her eyes open at all. Am I doing this right because I am confused and tired.

We made its 10 weeks exclusively breast feeding just to find out my baby has cmpa and possibly a soy sensitivity and the dietary restrictions are too much. I also don’t mind formula feeding she’s been doing well with it. We started all this in last 3 days. Any advice?

I’m just realizing I haven’t bought any toys or thought of getting any. Do 0-3 month old need toys? If so, what are some of the recommended kind of toys
