Worried about lack of words

We only have mama and dada and it’s inconsistent. Should I be worried?

My daughter only says mama. Every child develops in their own time.

Mine doesn’t say anything yet, just babbles allllll day long! Non stop! But I am not worried because he has good communication skills ☺️

My little boy says Mama and Dada but only as a babble. He has no meaning to them so they're not technically 'words' yet. On the other hand, my friends daughter (same age) is saying 20 words already. I've been told not to worry, up to 15 months is still within the average

Our little one babbles most of the time. He says "mama/mam mam" and something like "nein nein nein", "agua" when he wants to drink water, "gagagaga".... But really nothing more. He is very communicative, so we don't worry about it. He'll speak more words sooner or later. Also, we speak 3 languages at home (English, German, Spanish), so we know that it's more difficult for him to catch up. However, he understands a lot of words in those 3 languages, like "Flugzeug/ airplane, Wasser/ water/ agua, his favourite fruits, in den Mund/ to the mouth, danke/ thank you, etc.

Diaper bag!

Hi guys, I’m desperately in need of a new nappy bag 🥲I currently use my LV Neverfull and it actually fits everything, but it gets sooo messy everything just ends up on top of each other and I can never find anything quickly. I want the Mina Baie bag but I’m in the UK and shipping takes too long, I need something within a week 💔

Does anyone have recommendations for a cute/aesthetic nappy bag that has a lot of space and has a similar vibe to Mina Baie that’s also practical and comfortable to wear? xx

Breastfeeding

So I see that a lot of moms on here are exclusively breastfeeding and I wanted to know was it hard for you the first little bit and I assume it eventually gets easier and at what point is that? I’m 4 wks pp and some days I feel like I’m getting the hang of it but other days I’m like maybe I should just pump or give formula and nothing wrong with that a few months in I did that with my first. But I really wanna give it a proper shot this time

Please give me all tips and tricks that worked for you sometimes my baby keeps falling asleep at the breast every 4-5 m so I feel like I’m constantly feeding her. Nothing wakes her up not diaper changes, not tickling or applying cold she just wakes up like half an hour later and I’m feeding her again. So for times like that I get so frustrated she’s not getting a full feed at the boob

Anyways just wondering if it ever gets easier, less painful, faster and you become more confident because I’m already 4 weeks and don’t feel that

Vaccination schedule + newborn visits

When did you feel it was actually safe to have visitors or host a small gathering?

My due date is in about a month, and I tried to schedule a first visit with a pediatrician for after my baby boy arrives - but they said it’s too early to book an appointment.

My husband and I are also planning a small naming ceremony with close friends and family about 2 weeks after birth.

I’d love to hear from other moms on this.

What does the vaccination schedule look like for newborns in those first few weeks/months? Would really appreciate any experiences or advice 🤍
