My 11 week old seems to want to sleep on his tummy (all night he cries and arches so last night I just rolled him onto the side to see if that would stop him crying, he was on his front and literally out like a light!!) obviously I know they are not allowed so I rolled him back onto his back and he just continued to cry all night 😢 any tips on how I can make sleep more comfortable for him until he is rolling and allowed to lay on his front x

Does he have any other symptoms? Just wondering if he could have some reflux :)

Sounds like he could have reflux if he’s u comfortable on his back. Maybe try popping slightly propped in the next to me x
He has definitely had all signs of reflux pretty much since birth and so far I’ve been ticking off all of the boxes we have changed to lansinoh teats for better latch, been checked for tongue tie, changed formula to goat which settled him and raised his next to me! Still yet to have an osteopath appointment to see if that could help xx

Babies sleep better on their tummy. Back in the days babies had to sleep on the tummy, now we say in the back for safety.
Do it if your baby likes it

We had the same issue when he was 6 weeks. He's currently 4 months now and he still prefers to lie on his tummy. In the initial stages we took turns to keep an eye on him when he was sleeping at night and once he could turn his own head from side to side we let him be but still kept an eye on him to make sure he was alright. It stopped the gassy and reflux crying and he slept much better. But honestly sometimes, I do wish we didn't start it because we get him to lie on his back in his crib still but again in our case it was worth. Happy baby happy mummy 😅
Sooo true honestly if I could just get a good solid few hours of sleep I’d be such a happier mum 😆😆 thank you makes me feel better to let him xx
Health visitor said to reduce so it doesn't ruin appetite for food but just wondering how often others are doing it. Thanks x

Looking for advice/ support re triple feeding. I have a 3 month old little boy. I was keen from the start to breastfeed him but things didn't really go as planned. I had an emergency csection, and i guess milk came in later than expected. Initially it was all ok, he was gaining weight as per normal, didn't loose much after 5 days.
It all went downhill from the 6 week review i had with the gp as he dropped half centile and gp advised i top up after each feed.
I was then referred to the infant feeding support team and they advised i start pumping 8 to 12 times per day and top up... started doing that straight away..
After a few weeks with no changes, i went private and was told my LO has a posterior tongue tie and was recommended to see an osteopath. We had the division done a week ago, saw the osteopath twice... and still no changes.. i feel like he is having more and more from the bottle. I am doing paced feeding with the bottle and he did gain weight in the meantime.. which seems to indicate that the triple feeding is working but i am so so tired of pumping all the time... does anyone have any success stories with the triple feeding? Does it ever end? Desperate to just exclusively breastfeed my lovely little one

Is anyone else's baby having really random awake and nap times? I know wake windows aren't a science and I only use them as a rough guide but my daughter (15 weeks) was working towards a nice 4 nap schedule with 1.5-1.75 hours between naps, lately we've gone back to 5 naps most days (she is a chronic cat napper) but the last few days its been all over the place! Today she had 30 min, then an hour awake, then 45 minutes, 90 min awake, 45 minutes, 2 hours awake and has just gone back to sleep again now. Anyone else?

Hi.
I'm reading a lot about how important to establish the milk supply. I really want to exclusively breastfeeding and I want to make sure I have enough milk, but I read the wearable breast pump can mess up the supply? It's not as simple as more you pump more you able to produce? Or I'm just think its that simple? What is your thoughts/ experience on this?
