Every time we try to go out and I say it’s time to put jacket and shoes on, it turns into the BIGGEST screaming and tantrum ever.
After we go out, throughout the day my little boy tells me “shoe off” and takes them off whenever he can.
I’ve tried different shoes, letting him choose, giving options, taking it slow, nothing seems to help. We don’t go out loads and he doesn’t go to nursery.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips? Please tell me it is just a phase! 🤍

We bought some new shoes for mine recently and had the same tantrum when we asked her to put those on. She'll wear her old ones fine, but not the new ones. I don't think they're uncomfortable - they're a bigger size than the old pair, and feel ok when we get them on, so it's really odd - they're pink with flowers so should be appealing!
Could they be too small / rubbing somewhere? Though probably not if you've tried several pairs...

Its just boundary pushing, normal but frustrating. Hold your boundary and follow through qith natural consequences when they kick off

My daughter is like that too. Today I had a jacket and a coat on outside and she was in just a tshirt. Put her coat on as her arms were stone cold and she was saying she was too hot and wanted to take her coat off again.
Is mounjaro allowed to be taken whilst breastfeeding? I’m not on it yet, but considering it as it’s the only thing that helps me lose some weight due to my health conditions.

Hi mums, I’m 10 weeks postpartum and feeling so burnt out. My baby doesn't latch, so I’ve been pumping and mixed feeding. Pumping is exhausting me, and I’m really thinking about quitting.
Because I work in healthcare, the guilt is hitting me hard and I keep overthinking the benefits of breast milk. But my mental and physical health are slipping.
Would love to hear from moms whose babies are 100% formula-fed. Please tell me your formula babies are thriving and that you got your sanity back! Need some reassurance today. 🙏

When should I start getting my little one into a bed routine? He’s 2 months old and will go to bed with me.. normally I don’t go to bed until 10pm due to having other kids and cleaning up etc.. but is it a good idea to be getting him into his own routine and setting up a monitor in his cot or is it too early for him?

Does anyone know how long this sleep regression lasts? My son has gone from sleeping through to being up every hour for the last two weeks, I'm soooo tired!!🥲

I’m genuinely at a loss. My 7 week old will not sleep on a night time. Everytime she falls asleep in my arms I go to put her down and she wakes up instantly is awake for hours afterwards

Baby is 7 weeks old, I’ve been tripple feeding due to weight issues/tongue tie…I’ve been doing all the nights on my own. My partner quite often sleeps in the spare room and gets full nights sleeps. Even if he sleeps in bed with me, he sleeps through baby’s cries. Even if I try to wake him up to ask him to change a nappy while I sort my pumps out, he doesn’t even wake up from me.
So anyways, tonight I kindly asked my partner if he could have the baby just for the first half of the night because I’m ill & I didn’t get any sleep yesterday. It was awful, baby was so unsettled I think she had tummy pains she hadn’t pooped in a long time. And on top of this, his parents have given me a rotten cold. So I just want to get a solid block of sleep even if it’s just 3 hours. Just to try to recover. This is the first time I’ve ever asked for anything.
His response was “yeah okay but I’m not gonna go bed then I’m just gonna stay up all night on the iPad, I’m not taking my pillows, I’d rather not sleep at all than get broken sleep”….i just said “no you have work in the morning just try to get some sleep” and i mentioned that I have to do the broken sleep day in, day out. He then started shouting at me saying “why are you kicking off at me just be grateful that I’m doing this for you”…….
Excuse me. Grateful? 😆
And I wasn’t kicking off I calmly just said this is what I’m expected to do every day and wake up feeling amazing the next day.
I feel like that’s his way of making me feel guilty & awful, so that I never ask him again.
Today all he’s kept saying is “what the f is wrong with you today” just purely because I’m unwell & not as energised.
Mate I’ve been surviving off no sleep for 7 weeks & now I’ve caught a bug that’s completely wiped me out. Even when he comes come from work, he can’t settle baby. She screams in his arms endlessly. The second I take her, she’s silent. I’m the only one who can soothe her. So I don’t even get a break when he comes home. And now I’m ill from your selfish parents & having to continue as normal & not sleeping.
But I have to be upbeat and happy 24/7….when you physically cannot do ONE night of broken sleep with the baby ?
All I did was try to tell him to put himself In my shoes and understand how that sounds and feels. I’ve never said to him “just be grateful that I’m doing this for you” when I’ve been up all night with his daughter & when he is ill.
When I mentioned to him that this feels a bit manipulative, he stormed out of the room and slammed the door. He didn’t want to hear it. But I do feel like he does that so that he gets his own way.
I’m really really struggling postpartum. Like badly. I don’t have a village. I don’t have any close family or friends. He’s all I have. And this is the treatment I’m getting. All I wanted was a couple of hours while I’m unwell.
During this argument he was giving it all this sarcasm like “are you ever wrong, you can’t do anything wrong can you”.
Feel like he’s just been so disrespectful.
Every evening he also moans that dinner isn’t ready soon enough. He’s never just gone and cooked a meal us. If baby is glued to me and he is free, I don’t see why he can’t make some food if he’s so hungry. Sometimes I feel like I’m taking care of 2 kids.
