Hello.
My little girl is almost 11 weeks and her wake windows are becoming longer and im just wondering what activities we can do. We go two walks a day with the dog and go to baby sensory etc but im not sure what to do in the house. We have playmats, bouncy chair, books etc but just wondered if I should be doing other activities. I feel she gets bored quite easily đ
Many thanks đ

Im in the same boat do the same as you dog walks, books, baby classes, baby chair, baby gym mat there isnt really a lot more to do as far as im aware although I feel bad if we just sit doing nothing! Give it a few more weeks im sure we will have our hands full!

Donât put so much pressure on yourself, you sound like youâre doing more than enough đ„° even just doing the normal day to day stuff like washing up and chopping veg etc, have them in the kitchen with you watching/talking them through what youâre doing, thatâs enough! Donât feel like you always have to be doing activities etc x

I felt the same and then read that at this age we are their entertainment! Literally talking to them, laughing with them signing etc! Thatâs enough :)

I just take my baby everywhere with me and narrate what Iâm doingđ seems to work lol

Just baby wear and take them through your day! Baking laundry singing talking walks groceries. Itâs a good habit to get into that you donât have to entertain your kids and that everyday tasks provide plenty of stimulation and excitement, especially for little ones. if you go on walks, go to a class and read to them, youâre already doing amazing and giving so much.
I also apply the same thing to my toddler. We have some one on one time to play specific games, puzzles, make believe stuff, but majority of the time I try to get them involved in daily things like helping make grocery list, laundry, dishes, cleaning. It makes life a lot easier in the sense that you do these things with your toddler during the day and not in a panic at night and theyâre learning the whole time. How to crack an egg, how to fold a towel. These are things little kids take a lot of pride in and find fun
Hi everyone,
Our son is currently ill with his latest cold and the owner of the nursery told me to maybe think about giving him vitamins as he gets sick more than the other kids do.
We give him vitamin d drops already but would vitamins work? I'm wondering if we need to feed him differently - though he has quite a varied diet I thought... We give him carbs, proteins and veg and full fat milk/ cheese, he likes fruit and veg. Only thing we don't regularly feed is red meat but he has fish and chicken.
Just wondering if anyone has any insights on this as I'm open to ideas!

Help!! My partner and I can't choose between two nurseries.
We want our son to start nursery in January as working from home is becoming impossible nowđ
he will be 16 months by then.
We have visited two and they both have their pros and cons but can't decide especially since nursery A was visited on a Saturday so didn't see staff and children in action.
I know the decision is up to us at the end of the day but if you saw this list below what would you choose?

Moms, how do you give medicine to your toddlers? đ„č My little one spits it out almost immediately, no matter what I try. Force-feeding is absolutely not an option for me. Iâd love to know what works for you and your little ones! â€ïž

Hi, what do people do during half term and holidays for childcare. My kids are both under 5 and Iâm planning to go back to work once they both start nursery. What do you do during school holidays? Babysitters?

I have been FB friends with this girl for a year or so. She is sweet, but a lot of the things she says or does give me mixed feelings. Today, she posted on her story a video she recorded of her in the car with her kids. The 7 year old asked the 4 year old if heâs gay. He then went on to explain what gay means and said âitâs wrongâ and she said âteaching them early!â How would you feel? I asked her how he even knew that word and she said âitâs the world these daysâ and âheâs pretty mature for his age.â I told her how most schools donât even teach sex ed until 5th grade. She said her husband doesnât help because heâll say âyou look gayâ. I donât know who heâs saying that to, but I was in shock. I donât know if others said something about the video because she said maybe she shouldnât have posted it.

Does it mean anything? It was a post on the app to say how my LO is settling into nursery.
