How do you mamas do it? My six month old just recently started refusing his crib so I’ve been bringing him to my bed, but I’m so worried that my husband’s going to crush him. He wakes so easily when my husband‘s work alarms go off. I feel like I’m getting less sleep with him in our bed than I did when he was in the crib. Do you guys sleep with your babies on your chest near you because right now I have him in the middle.

All night with this baby as of lately. She won’t sleep in her crib for longer than a few minutes. As soon as she realizes I’ve left her side she’s awake screaming.

My baby doesn't sleep in the middle because I also don't trust that my husband won't squish him. I have his bassinet beside my side of the bed so it would prevent him from rolling off, but I always have my arm wrapped around him anyways. The alarm doesn't really wake him. Maybe because he's always heard it. So maybe your baby will adjust to it as well.

I had to stop cosleeping because my daughter wasn’t sleeping well we have contact naps but around 5 months she was waking up when I sighed or rolled I think she needed her own space she slept through the night when she started going to her crib my son was the same he loved his crib and having his own space to sleep if it were up to me I’d Cosleep for longer but I realized it wasn’t working for her lol
My LG (2.5) has always been a great sleeper. She still naps during the day, usually for anywhere between 1.5–3 hours, but lately she’s been fighting her naps and they’re getting later and later. But when shes gone, shes sparko!
We’ve had a few days recently where she hasn’t napped at all, and if she’s kept busy, she gets delirious by the end of the day before sleeping from 7pm–6am.
However, if we’re having a quieter day at home or I can’t get out, she might finally nap from 1–3pm. I try not to let her nap that late because it pushes bedtime back to around 10pm, but I also don’t want to keep her awake when she’s clearly exhausted, whinging and in need of sleep.
Does anyone have any tips for gently waking a toddler from a nap so they don’t sleep for so long? Or is it time to drop naps altogether? Alternatively, how can I get her back into the routine of napping from 12–2pm like she used to?
I know she obviously still needs the sleep, but our days are now starting at 5am, and I’m struggling to work out what’s best for her. I'm also aware the clocks go back soon which will fuck me even more. Shes up from 5/6am. She has so much energy and we play from the moment she opens her eyes till bedtime.
For context, I also have a 6-month-old who sleeps amazingly from 8pm–7am. This then means I sort my toddler out and have to wait upstairs until my baby wakes up as transporting her downstairs will wake her unnaturally.

She’s too pushy and I’ve said no endless times. It’ll be very stressful for him. I don’t pump because I don’t like it and my baby doesn’t like bottles. I’m currently trying to break nurse-sleep association. It doesn’t make any sense to attempt a sleepover because it’ll be just stressful for baby and I. I just can’t be asked to keep saying NO. It’s almost harassment. I said it’ll eventually happen once I’m back to work, not while I’m in mat leave as I don’t want to be away from my son yet. How can I approach this in a friendly way? She’s just too much sometimes and I’ve been very friendly and open about the idea, but not about the timing.

Moms that travel; I’m taking my 1 y/o (21months ) on her first trip tomorrow . I’m dreading taking her car seat . What do you normally do if you don’t travel w/ your car seat ? Can you request a driver with one on ride share apps ?

1) how much sleep are you averaging at the moment? (I’m 3 weeks PP currently and baby is feeding every 3 hours, so getting 3 hours max of uninterrupted sleep)
2) are your babies really noisy and wriggly after night feeds but absolutely fine in the day?! If so, any tips please 🙏
3) following on from above really, how long does each feed take? Mine is up from about 1.5 hours from each feed so it’s sooo exhausting as she just won’t settled afterwards and is really wriggly/nosiy
Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong as I’m so tired and if the feeds were a bit quicker at night/could get her back down quicker it’d be so much better then I could actually sleep!
Thanks so much 🥰
