Constant false starts at bedtime

My baby is notorious for false starts at bedtime and literally wakes every time I try to transition her back into her next to me despite leaving it 10 minutes after shes asleep. Ive done cosleeping for 4 months and don't want to do it anymore.
She has roughly 2 hr wake windows during the day for naps but we do 2hrs,30 mins or 2hrs,45 minutes at bedtime to build sleep pressure but it doeent make a difference. She transfers to her next to me very easily during the night. Im at a loss. Any ideas?

We had this for a while, particularly after his 4m sleep regression & found it brutal! If falling asleep is assisted, then encouraging independent sleep might help?

How many/how long are your babies naps in the day? It had gotten to the point where my baby would only contact nap in the day and had to be fed to sleep and would wake multiple times a night and again had to be fed to sleep. I started working with a sleep consultant and it seemed that she was napping for too long in the day so wasn’t tired enough at night and we needed to teach independent sleep to break the feed to sleep association. In less than 2 weeks she is now napping in her crib during the day and doing 10 hour stretches at night. It may also be that the wake windows aren’t long enough? My baby is doing nearer a 2hour 50-3 hour wake window before bed

Usually 3 a day all lasting half an hour so I dont think its that.

I am gonna try extending the last wake window and breaking the feed to sleep habit too.

Thank you xx

I am also going through this but I have started putting a hot water bottle on the materess to warm up a bit so she’s not startled when put down also putting on side the rolling to back and holding both hands together on chest for 30-40 seconds to help the feeling of still being held but false starts are common my little girl does a 3 hour stretch before bed and will still do this

Stroller recommendations

Hi everyone

Can I please ask for stroller reviews from anyone who loves their strollers especially if you push it on cobblestones or rough terrain.

I have a mama’s and papas Flip TX3 which I absolutely hate! Everytime I use it I get back pain from steering it. It’s also super bumpy and makes me worry about baby but she seems not to mind. Baby is 4 months and we have only used it 5 times. If you have a Flip TX3 , does it get better when baby is older and can sit up?

I chose it because of the lie flat option as I didn’t get a bassinet and also because its foldable and we live on the first floor.

I really need something which is those two things but with great suspension.

Thank you

Struggling

My baby just turned 3 weeks and although I was doing so well at the start, I feel like I’m being worn down now. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and my life being constant 2 hour increments of feeding, burping, changing and trying to soothe a fussy baby, then grabbing whatever scraps of sleep I can when he goes down is so exhausting. One of my boobs has now started hurting (not the nipple, the boob itself) and I’m so stressed at night trying to get through without my partner waking as he has work the next day. I’m not sure what I’m asking for, I suppose I’m just venting to feel less alone. I’m so grateful to have my baby, but this is so hard and I’m scared.

Sleep/transferring to next to me crib

Any tips pls , baby is only 5 days old, had a bit of a rough road so far with her having antibiotics, jaundice etc. she’s breastfed.

We’re now home and she absolutely will not be down in the crib at night. She’ll stay there for 20 mins then absolutely scream. I’ve tried a hot water bottle , white noises etc

I’m so tired overnight from this as she’ll only, she’ll only Fall asleep when held, I don’t want to co sleep x
