I’m 31 weeks and starting to feel really breathless. Even when I have been sat down I just feel out of breath and as though my heart is beating really fast. Is this normal has anyone else felt like this?

Hey lovely, yes! I’ve had it for a few weeks now and my Apple Watch says my heart rate jumps massively when it happens too! I’ve spoken to my midwife about it but she had no answer for me.. so at my appointment last week I asked her to check my iron levels and they have come back really low so might have something to do with that? Going to give it a week or two on these tablets to see if it helps atall!
I’m the same though as it’s so weird like I can do loads some days and feel fine but then I’m sat down one day and can’t breathe properly, it comes and goes! Xx

I would ask to get your iron levels checked.
When mine were really low I was super out of breath.

I’m breathless a lot of the time - as you say sometimes even when I’m just sitting down or after I’ve eaten. I’ve never had issues with my iron and had my bloods checked just last Wednesday so I wonder if it’s not just literally all the other organs pushing against my diaphragm and lungs literally reducing their capacity to fill up like normal…?!

My iron levels have been checked and they are fine luckily. Baby was breech but has not turned so I’m hoping it could just be all the moving and squashing! I will ask again at my next midwife appointment as some days are just worse than others! X
Can anyone please help me advise what to buy for my hospital bag when it comes to maternity pads/knickers? I am very stuck! Not sure obviously whether this will end in vaginal birth or c section, but any recommendations would be very handy!

I had my first scan and baby is looking very healthy so far! (Measuring around 9 weeks) I do have some health problems and considered high risk so it was a big relief to know that so far everything is going okay

Has anyone here had a prenatal massage? Because I can't stand the pain in my neck and back, and I'm also scared to get one; I'm 18 weeks along.
