Second solo selling session this afternoon for an hour and a half, picked her up and she’d been screaming/crying for most the session. She is doing 2 days a week starting Thursday. So sad to see her like that. Any words of wisdom please 🙏🏻

I work in a nursery and I promise you they do settle, some take a while and some settle really quickly! Keep going at it, I know it’s hard but she will settle and then she will be running in! If they are anything like our setting they are so loved throughout the day, cuddles, singing to them, trying all their favourite stuff! We carry them around half the time if they need it, they get really cared for! It’s just because she doesn’t want to leave you but maybe take a picture in of you and her and it might help her to have it with her all day, something that smells of you! Any comforter that will help but if not it will take time xxx

I’m so glad I was able to make you feel better, honestly she will be so loved and cared for there! What I usually say to the parents for their sessions is stay for the whole time the first one and then for the second pop in with him for 10 minutes to help him settle in and go off to play and then when you can don’t make a big deal of it and just leave and see how he gets on! He may not do really well or he may surprise you and absolutely love it! A lot of the time the second one is the one where they settle because they have done it once but please don’t feel like it’s never going to work if he is upset because the more time they spend there the more they will get used to it! Yes a book will be good as they can sit down and read it with him and see if that settles him! If not a picture is always really helpful. We have a board in our room with memories of all the babies and their parents on and a wall full of framed family pictures that they are allowed to take off and carry around x

Was meant to say “he” at the start x

My little boy took 2 weeks to settle. He cried at every drop off, it was hard going but now he absolutely loves it and gets excited
Thank you just coming on to reread before bed 😆. I’ll take some bits in tomorrow. It’s nice to hear about others who have gone through the process and that 2 weeks makes a big difference. I’m worried about the gap when she only has two days but I think if I wasn’t worrying about this I’d be worrying about something else!
After 5 days of screaming through each settle, today she has done the whole day and two naps. And I have seen photo evidence that she isn’t screaming 🤩
My baby’s dad performed a DNA test on him and my baby without my knowledge or consent. My baby wasn’t even a month old at this point. Any advice or thoughts? He’s not on the birth certificate.

My 10 month old has found her voice, it doesn’t bother me during the day of the pterodactyl screeching or weird sounds but for the last week now she will not go to sleep when it’s bed time, she’s up hours on end making sounds. Did this happen to anyone else’s baby? Did anyone find a way to make them go to sleep ?

Did anyone get their son circumcised? If so, how did you guys help them during the healing process?
I’m asking because next month my son gets circumcised and I want to make sure he heals well

I had been co sleeping with my 6 month little girl for the past month, I met up with my friend who’s a nurse and she told about an 8 month old baby passed away due to co sleep (rolled on her tummy and couldn’t move).
It really scared me so the past week we have transferred her to her cot (still next to our bed) but she is wakes 7-10 times a night and I’m exhausted and struggling so bad.
Do you guys co sleep or has anyone successfully got their co sleeping baby into their cot?
Any advice would be amazing❤️

Hiya, can anyone recommend a good replacement mattress for the above next 2 me crib please? The one they sell as a replacement has really bad reviews! Thanks ☺️ x

My little boy has been constantly pooing since Monday but the last 2 days it’s been a LOT like 7+ 😭 he woke up Monday with sniffles and has been congested since then starting to clear slightly. I’ve stopped his solid foods today to give his tummy a rest as it’s not watery but it’s very mucus. Has anyone else experienced anything like this with their little one when they’ve come done with a virus? It’s so draining for him and me. Went for the doctors today and they wasn’t fussed as he seemed well and has been having wet nappies even though he isn’t taking all of his 7oz bottles.
