Hello ladies after some advice , my son is 7.5 months old now and fully formula fed and eating 2-3 meals a day as well as 4 bottles throughout the day.
I cannot complain as he sleeps 7pm- 2-3am when he wakes for a feed. I truly believe he is waking through habit not hunger. However I feed and put him back down.
Has anyone cut the night time bottle out and if so how? I’m returning to work soon and work shifts so really need to get some sleep!
Any advice welcome!

My girl has turned 8 months and I cut her nighttime bottle around 6 months, when I realised it was habit not hunger I just stopped offering it! She woke about half 12 for it every night, I literally went cold turkey and the first few nights were rough and she was really fussy but I just kept comforting her till she went back off to sleep, I think she literally was fussy for about three days then she stopped waking up! I have no idea how you’re supposed to do it this was just off instinct x

We also cut out my girls night feed at about 6 months. We reduced the amount by 30ml every few days until it was down to 150ml and then stopped altogether. She didn't seem to mind at all and slept through. It was much easier than I thought it would be!

We have literally just done this and had two nights no feeds! I started by doing a 4oz bottle for two nights, then 3oz, 2oz, 1oz for two and the past two nights she has been fine, still wakes up but I put her a dummy in (which she has never taken too up until a week ago!) found it a lot easier than I thought it would be too! I didn’t want to stop if she was genuinely hungry but she seems to be ok at the moment and like you I wanted to have tried to wean before I go back to work! Hope it all goes ok for you! ❤️
Thank you for the reply ladies! I had all intentions of starting this last night but by chance he slept through for the first time ever! Could be a fluke so we’ll see how tonight goes xx
Is it normal for a baby to constantly poo when they start weaning? My daughter is pooing so much since we started weaning last week, as in every nappy has some amount of poo in it. Just want to make sure this is normal before contacting doctors etc

My son is 2 years and 6 months he can say alot of words me and his dad can make out what he's saying and he has improved a lot since starting nursery in January
However I know I shouldn't compare but when I see kids his age, they're speaking in sentences, can directly ask for what they want, and their communication is much more stronger. However, my son has great understanding and can follow instructions. His speech is not clear, but people can understand him. I don't know what I can do to support him further and I don't know if I should be concerned enough to take him to the doctors. I've taken him to the doctors before and they said that because he can understand things, he will eventually pick up more words and start saying sentences. This was when he was 2 years old.

I’m finding my 2 week old will feed on the breast for 5-10 minutes and then pull off? She’s putting on weight and otherwise healthy but it worries that it’s such short amount of time and then she’ll sleep for few hours.
Has anyone else found this?
Thanks!

Should I invest in a bottle washer? We do not have a dishwasher. I am looking between the Mum cozy and the baby breeza (I’m from Australia, options are limited) thoughts?

My LO is 11 weeks old and she is so hard to get to sleep at night time. We don’t follow a set routine and follow her cues. She will contact nap throughout the day but naps are pretty inconsistent and if I try to transfer her she will wake up and cry straight away.
At night time she is so tired and fighting sleep so hard, we will give her a bottle or boob and she will be fast asleep but the second we put her in the cot she is wide awake and crying hysterically, but she will fall back asleep on me or her dad. Once she has been asleep on one of us for an hour to 2 hours we can then put her in her cot and she will sleep thought the night.
Any advice to get her sleep in her cot with out 1/2 contact sleep on a night time?
