Hey I need some advice!! I have been EBF my little one who is now 15 months and I've loved every minute of it but the last few weeks have been TOUGH! she only feeds for one nap in the day and bedtime /during the night. The twiddling started and I do everything to stop her, moving her hand away, holding her hand, giving her something else to hold, telling her no it hurts mummy and stopping the feed... all of these just leads to tantrums and her fighting sleep even more.
The twiddling immediately sends my skin crawling and I get so agitated. In starting to dread nap times and bedtime. Once she finally goes to bed I am stressed for the rest of the evening, not even wanting to talk to my partner which I feel guilty for.
I don't feel as though she is ready to wean as she is so used to feeding to sleep.. I personally am not ready to wean as I'm not prepared for the harder nights when I already feel this stressed out.
I know they say bf uas it's hurdles, so far my journey has been smooth sailing so maybe it's me not coping well with the first proper hurdle. She refuses a bottle when she's tired it has to be me. Sometimes I have to just push my hand so hard against my other boob so she can't reach the nipple to twiddle...
What do I do? How can I not feel so agitated as I feel so guilty☹️

I never found a solution personally and now have 0 nerve endings in my nipples 😂😂
It does depend on what I’m wearing though because some clothes give more access to the other boob than others! Pyjamam PJs are brilliant because you can just open one boob at a time. Doesn’t work for me because I’m flat as a pancake so she just slips her hand in the open one and gets to the other one lol but I’m sure it would work if you’re a B cup size or bigger
My 6 months old rolls a lot in her crib. Last night she bumped her head on ut when rolling. Any recommendations or links to get some sort of padded protector around the crib??

Hello!
I am struggling with my 20 months old. She’s amazing but when it’s time to go to sleep she just won’t sleep. Napping is almost impossible and bedtime is eternal. It takes me at least an hour to put her to sleep. If I am not literally next to her, she will cry and won’t stop until I come back (she can cry for 30 mins no problem and never get tired). Also she won’t allow my husband to put her to sleep.
I know this is my fault because I didn’t sleep training her correctly when I was supposed to but I keep trying everything and nothing works. Does anyone have any advice on how to teach her to fall asleep?
Thank you for your time!

So I just need to ask os Huckleberry worth paying for, I need help with my daughter, she has hit the four months stage and last night sent me to the edge, she took over an hour to get her to sleep, I had her asleep around six ISH on me went to transfer after half an hour, and she woke up, checked the app and she needed milk then she went back to sleep around eight ish on me, managed to transfer her to her cot till 10 ISH she had another bottle and went straight back to sleep afterwards but then started fussing around two ISH in the cot eyes closed but whining, I put the dummy in and she went back to sleep and she did this again, still with her eyes closed about half an hour after, then up for four am, had some milk and a nappy change back down near five till eight in the morning, I have been tracking it on huckleberry and wondered if it was worth paying for the premium to get more advice on how to get her to sleep through like she used to, I am going to do a bathing routine three times a week as they not to bathe a baby too much and then I am trying to have wind down times between half six and seven, I am knackered and trying anything but does anyone else's child fuss during the night? Mine does I said before but she doesn't open her eyes or anything so I pop the dummy in to sooth her and try and let her fall back to sleep herself, I watch to see if her eyes open at all. Am I doing this right because I am confused and tired.

Hi.
Stupid question as my brain isn’t braining.
My baby is now officially 6m old (happy half birthday!) and I’m wondering what the next step is for using a seat for her bath? She currently has the picture attached and she’s almost grown out of it.
She can’t sit unaided yet, is it the seat I get for her?

Hi all! our lactation consultant mentioned my baby has tongue tie, although she feeds well, it’s not painful for me and she’s gaining weight. However, she drips lots of milk during the feeds, she often spits up a lot and she’s very gassy. Thus she suggested to cut it next week, when she’ll be three weeks old. I am so scared she will have a nursing strike. My first baby stopped feeding from the breasts after the procedure for so long and I had mastitis. She developed a preference for the bottle but I had no other choice at that time because the pain for me was unbearable. With my second I don’t have this issue and I am scared she’ll stop breastfeeding too! My second never took a bottle. Anyone can share their experience?

We made its 10 weeks exclusively breast feeding just to find out my baby has cmpa and possibly a soy sensitivity and the dietary restrictions are too much. I also don’t mind formula feeding she’s been doing well with it. We started all this in last 3 days. Any advice?
