My little one is 5 and a half months, I want to start getting her to have naps in her big cot in her room to get her used to it before we make the transition.
She’s definitely ready for her own room, she’s constantly waking herself up by throwing her arms and she’s hitting the sides of the next to me crib, she’s just too big for it now.
How did you make the transition? I know it will be a big one as she is a contact napper only but I think she’s ready for sleep training.

We've started putting our 4 and a half month old in his cot for day naps. We started with his longest nap of the day because we figured that's when he must be the most tired, therefore more likely to stay down. And then if he woke up, I would contact him for the rest of the nap. As he started sleeping more in his room, we've started doing 2 naps there. Gradually he's started sleeping the majority of each nap in his room. Hope that makes sense? Not sure if this is the right thing to do!x

I would play with him in the day im his room for about 3 days then I just made the move as I already had the cot up in our bedroom x
I’m a FTM looking for some advice please.
I’ve just started putting my 9 week old in her sleeping bag at night the temperature when we go to bed is around 20/21 degrees I have been putting her in a 1 tog sleeping bag with her sleepsuit per the guide on the sleep bag. The temperature is dropping to about 16/17 degrees throughout the night making it colder.
Would you continue to put her in the 1 tog or would you put her in a warmer tog when she’s going to bed knowing the temperature is going to drop? I am worried about overheating her. TIA xx

I breastfed for 18 months and it was more because I knew it was good for baby and then when we got into it, it was for convenience and ease. But I also felt that it took things away like baby being able to spend long periods of time with family (he wouldn’t take a bottle), and also I had a lack of freedom lol.
I’d do it again and don’t regret it but I never got the “I love breastfeeding, I love the closeness, it’s magical” kinda feeling that I read people talking about.

Help?!!!! My 18 month old from the day he was born has been absolute hell past 4pm. No matter how much sleep he has he whinges and cries at EVERY thing, all evening. My partner is really stressed out with it, as we thought by now he might have grown out of it. He’s sleeps 7:30pm- 6am, and 11:30-1:30 day nap. Eats WELL, that is what he actually mostly whinges at now… Always screaming at the kitchen cupboards. I don’t know what to do😩 is this happening to anyone else

When did you start using tampons after birth?
I’m 6 weeks post c-section today and started my first period. I absoloutely hate pads with a passion I’m so fed up of them I just want to start using tampons again but information online is misleading.

Did anyone find that when they got their period their milk supply got less? Think my first period is starting and noticed I'm finding I'm pumping less and less milk at the moment and wonder if they're connected.
