A wagon

Avatar

It all comes down to where you go the most. Carnivals, festivals, farmers market, soccer games etc then get a wagon because they’re huge and hold a lot . But if you’re running quick errands, going to stores, drs offices then get a stroller. Keep in mind you’re going to be the one lugging in and out of your trunk. Honestly I would have both for different activities.

Colostrum

Hi ladies, I am 37+1 and started collecting colostrum yesterday. With my husband there it was easy for him to collect with the syringe but today doing it alone with the syringe led to me spilling half of it which was soul destroying! Has anyone got any tips on how to collect and not spill when alone?

Baby Constipation

Willing to try anything at this point if anyone has any suggestions 😩 my little guy who is 7 months old started having some issues with bowel movements approx. 3 weeks ago. His poops were becoming more firm and harder for him to get out. I ensure he drinks enough fluids, we do regular exercises & tummy massages, he’s on a probiotic and sees a chiropractor weekly.

I started giving him prunes and other fibrous foods, reducing any foods harder to digest which still did not help. After 2 weeks of him screaming in pain every time he tried to release anything, often disrupting his sleep, I took him to the doctor. They suggested restoralax and a suppository. The suppository helped him have a few good poops for 24 hrs and we are back to square one, if not worse 😔

Open to any tips before we go back to the doctor. He is so exhausted from not sleeping properly (as am I). My heart breaks seeing him in so much pain and not being able to offer anything other than comfort.

What time do you do bedtime?

There’s so much conflicting advice. I keep seeing after 8pm is too late but then some things say later bedtime helps night wakes. I’ve tried earlier I’ve tried later but can’t find sweet spot!? Everything is so bloody complicated 🤦‍♀️

Alert/ active babies

I am a first time mum and I seem to have a very active/alert baby for 15 weeks, for example she started rolling at 10 weeks. Im so proud of her but I find having an active/alert baby has its challenges, and I find it hard to talk about it with other mums. Eg. Napping/switching off and feeding

I feel I downplay what she can do and get anxious when I have shared her accomplishments in the past. I also feel awkward when she does something advanced infront of other mums, especially when they start saying “ x can’t do that yet”
I really want to be able to celebrate the big milestones as I feel it’s one of the joys of parenthood but instead I get anxiety.
I was just wondering if there are any other mums in the same boat?

Co-sleeping and nursing to sleep

I have a 13 month old who is used to co-sleeping and nursing to sleep. Has anyone had any luck weaning off the nursing to sleep while co-sleeping? I also don’t want to do the cry-it-out cold turkey method.
