My 20 month old has begun to hit things when he’s frustrated/ having big feelings. Tends to be inanimate objects but can hit out at me and dad, too. We say kind hands / gentle and I’ve gotten a book or two about emotions but wanted to see if anyone has any other advice? Not massively worried at this point as I believe it is incredibly normal at this age.

Absolutely normal at this age, the emotions are so big. Our LB hits himself mostly now, odd occasion me or daddy but never anyone else. He’s late July birthday and it seems to have peaked and be trailing off a bit more now. We just try and redirect, show gentle hands, ahh etc. spoke to day care and he does not do it in there at all, which is reassuring. It’s a phase and like the hair pulling/biting we had at Christmas, it will pass.
Is it normal for a baby to constantly poo when they start weaning? My daughter is pooing so much since we started weaning last week, as in every nappy has some amount of poo in it. Just want to make sure this is normal before contacting doctors etc

My son is 2 years and 6 months he can say alot of words me and his dad can make out what he's saying and he has improved a lot since starting nursery in January
However I know I shouldn't compare but when I see kids his age, they're speaking in sentences, can directly ask for what they want, and their communication is much more stronger. However, my son has great understanding and can follow instructions. His speech is not clear, but people can understand him. I don't know what I can do to support him further and I don't know if I should be concerned enough to take him to the doctors. I've taken him to the doctors before and they said that because he can understand things, he will eventually pick up more words and start saying sentences. This was when he was 2 years old.

I’m finding my 2 week old will feed on the breast for 5-10 minutes and then pull off? She’s putting on weight and otherwise healthy but it worries that it’s such short amount of time and then she’ll sleep for few hours.
Has anyone else found this?
Thanks!

Should I invest in a bottle washer? We do not have a dishwasher. I am looking between the Mum cozy and the baby breeza (I’m from Australia, options are limited) thoughts?

My LO is 11 weeks old and she is so hard to get to sleep at night time. We don’t follow a set routine and follow her cues. She will contact nap throughout the day but naps are pretty inconsistent and if I try to transfer her she will wake up and cry straight away.
At night time she is so tired and fighting sleep so hard, we will give her a bottle or boob and she will be fast asleep but the second we put her in the cot she is wide awake and crying hysterically, but she will fall back asleep on me or her dad. Once she has been asleep on one of us for an hour to 2 hours we can then put her in her cot and she will sleep thought the night.
Any advice to get her sleep in her cot with out 1/2 contact sleep on a night time?
