Is anyone else going through the eight-month growth spurt phase? My baby turned eight months old last week, and suddenly his mood completely changed, cry constantly, sleep is disrupted, and refuse to eat anything—only drinking formula.

Same omg 😭 he was so calm before

Same!! Is something in the air?! 😭😭

Same with one exception that my son eat well, but screaming when I feed him. I am breastfeeding and it helps to calm him down. My son will turn 8m tomorrow

Omg yes, i was wondering what was going on. He doesnt want to be put down anywhere, just cries and complains. He plays a bjt with the food but nothing enters his mouth and also his wale windows and naos are all over the place

Mine just wants his solid foods no formula 😒

Yes it's awful. Sleep is worse for us right now than it was during the 4 month regression, too 😩.

I wonder if this is what’s going on with mine. I’d say he’s already pretty big since he’s in 12 month clothing lol but he still could be growing. He was doing good with purées and now refuses. And is waking up at night just to whine.

Could he be teething? My 8 month old has cut one tooth already and I believe she is getting another one. Her ears and cheeks go red/ warm when she's teething. She has trouble sleeping some nights as well.

Yes!! Teething and growing pains make him so grumpy and sad 😭
My LG (2.5) has always been a great sleeper. She still naps during the day, usually for anywhere between 1.5–3 hours, but lately she’s been fighting her naps and they’re getting later and later. But when shes gone, shes sparko!
We’ve had a few days recently where she hasn’t napped at all, and if she’s kept busy, she gets delirious by the end of the day before sleeping from 7pm–6am.
However, if we’re having a quieter day at home or I can’t get out, she might finally nap from 1–3pm. I try not to let her nap that late because it pushes bedtime back to around 10pm, but I also don’t want to keep her awake when she’s clearly exhausted, whinging and in need of sleep.
Does anyone have any tips for gently waking a toddler from a nap so they don’t sleep for so long? Or is it time to drop naps altogether? Alternatively, how can I get her back into the routine of napping from 12–2pm like she used to?
I know she obviously still needs the sleep, but our days are now starting at 5am, and I’m struggling to work out what’s best for her. I'm also aware the clocks go back soon which will fuck me even more. Shes up from 5/6am. She has so much energy and we play from the moment she opens her eyes till bedtime.
For context, I also have a 6-month-old who sleeps amazingly from 8pm–7am. This then means I sort my toddler out and have to wait upstairs until my baby wakes up as transporting her downstairs will wake her unnaturally.

She’s too pushy and I’ve said no endless times. It’ll be very stressful for him. I don’t pump because I don’t like it and my baby doesn’t like bottles. I’m currently trying to break nurse-sleep association. It doesn’t make any sense to attempt a sleepover because it’ll be just stressful for baby and I. I just can’t be asked to keep saying NO. It’s almost harassment. I said it’ll eventually happen once I’m back to work, not while I’m in mat leave as I don’t want to be away from my son yet. How can I approach this in a friendly way? She’s just too much sometimes and I’ve been very friendly and open about the idea, but not about the timing.

Moms that travel; I’m taking my 1 y/o (21months ) on her first trip tomorrow . I’m dreading taking her car seat . What do you normally do if you don’t travel w/ your car seat ? Can you request a driver with one on ride share apps ?

What’s everyone getting for their newborn to sleep in, I’m torn whether to get a love to dream swaddle.. are they good?

1) how much sleep are you averaging at the moment? (I’m 3 weeks PP currently and baby is feeding every 3 hours, so getting 3 hours max of uninterrupted sleep)
2) are your babies really noisy and wriggly after night feeds but absolutely fine in the day?! If so, any tips please 🙏
3) following on from above really, how long does each feed take? Mine is up from about 1.5 hours from each feed so it’s sooo exhausting as she just won’t settled afterwards and is really wriggly/nosiy
Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong as I’m so tired and if the feeds were a bit quicker at night/could get her back down quicker it’d be so much better then I could actually sleep!
Thanks so much 🥰
