Squirmy baby

Any one else's baby super squirmy? Some of it could be reflux during feeding (spoke to pediatrician already). But also when I try to rock her to sleep she's kicking her feet.. when I feed her in our living room she's so distracted trying to look around aggressively.. sometimes kicks like crazy when I baby wear her. I have to now rock her to sleep sitting literally in front of a wall so she's not overstimulated and trying to party when it's nap time and she has already shown sleepy cues 🤣

My daughter is super active during the night and when I feed her she only wants to watch TV, lately what I do is play songs on her and sway her in my arms until she falls asleep otherwise she heads me and kicks me (she is 2 months old)

Yes I get kicked 24/7 I feel!! Part of it is from gas sometimes and other times they just don’t have control of their motor skills yet and go crazy lol

💕 Breastfeeding hormones – has anyone else felt like this? 🤱🏼

I’m around 3 months postpartum and feel like breastfeeding has affected me more than I expected. I love the bond with my little boy, but my sex drive has disappeared, and sometimes I feel like I’ve lost a bit of myself. 🥺

I’d love to hear from other mums who’ve experienced this!

💗 Did your sex drive come back while breastfeeding, or only after stopping?

💗 Did you feel more emotional or unlike yourself?

💗 Did anything help, or did things improve naturally over time?

I love breastfeeding and don’t necessarily want to stop, but I’d love to feel more like myself again. ❤️

Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated! 🫶🏼

Bath time

My little one now hates bath time... she breaths really rapid and kicks her legs constantly throughout, she never looks chilled. I took her out early last night because she went red in the face and cried. Nothing has changed, we use one of the bath inserts bevause she hated the sitting up baths when she was new born. Any tips?

Winter sleeping advice

Ok so this may sound like a dumb question but what’s everyone doing during colder nights now? So my room is normally around 21-22 degrees, whenever the temp drops below 21 in the house the heating comes on automatically. With a LO now, I’m finding it hard to navigate, and I’m extremely anxious about overheating. So with the heating on, we keep the babies in 0.5 tog sleep sack with vest and sleepsuit. But as the nights get colder I wonder whether I need to put them in a 1.5 or 2.5 tog so they are cosy during the times the heating is off. But it’s never going to be that cold because the heating turns on anyways… I’m so confused and it’s possible I’m over thinking this but hey that’s post partum for you 🤣🤣 I wake up at night scared they’re over heating sometimes and if I go up a tog, my anxiety is going to get worse. But I also don’t want them to be cold. Please help!! Is it normally one or the other, like either have the heating on or put them in thicker sleep sack? Never both?

TIA x

How often are you breastfeeding after baby turned 1?

Health visitor said to reduce so it doesn't ruin appetite for food but just wondering how often others are doing it. Thanks x

Triple feeding

Looking for advice/ support re triple feeding. I have a 3 month old little boy. I was keen from the start to breastfeed him but things didn't really go as planned. I had an emergency csection, and i guess milk came in later than expected. Initially it was all ok, he was gaining weight as per normal, didn't loose much after 5 days.
It all went downhill from the 6 week review i had with the gp as he dropped half centile and gp advised i top up after each feed.
I was then referred to the infant feeding support team and they advised i start pumping 8 to 12 times per day and top up... started doing that straight away..
After a few weeks with no changes, i went private and was told my LO has a posterior tongue tie and was recommended to see an osteopath. We had the division done a week ago, saw the osteopath twice... and still no changes.. i feel like he is having more and more from the bottle. I am doing paced feeding with the bottle and he did gain weight in the meantime.. which seems to indicate that the triple feeding is working but i am so so tired of pumping all the time... does anyone have any success stories with the triple feeding? Does it ever end? Desperate to just exclusively breastfeed my lovely little one
