My baby girl was diagnosed at 3 months, i started weaning at 5.5 months. We havent had alot of dietician input, only in the hospital a quick chat & then an invite to webinar about weaning a child with CMPA. I am dairy free myself out of preference, so had some knowledge of dairy free brands. She is on aptamil pepti 2 so use this in her porridge and stuff.

We had an appointment with the dietician where they went through symptoms and confirmed diagnosis. We then attended a group appointment around 6 months regarding weaning and the milk ladder to start later on. I didn’t find weaning much different because there are loads of dairy free alternatives available to use.

My baby got diagnosed with a cmpa at 3 months. I cut dairy out of my diet and I couldn’t keep up with calories and my baby didn’t gain sufficient weight for two months! I slowly transitioned to nutramigen formula and stopped breastfeeding at 5 and a half months. He’s since gained 2 pounds and is eating 30-34 ounces a day!!!! He is thriving. Pediatrician said we’d start reintroducing dairy around 9-10 months in some solids! Hope this helps! Just watch weight gain!

My daughter didn’t get diagnosed until 5 months, we got invited to an online weaning class when she was 9 months old - we started weaning at 6 months 🤦🏼♀️ they need to be dairy free for a minimum of 6 months before you start the milk ladder (which you can find online) otherwise the dietician was completely useless for us
Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks and in the past few days have been a real struggle as I breastfeed him, he temporarily falls asleep on me than suddenly wake up and cries non stop. No hunger or cold/warm temp or gassiness involved I believe - I tried also putting them in any position (on me as well), but nothing really works.
Quite sleep deprived therefore - both of us.
Anyone having something similar at month 2? How did you deal with it?
Any suggestion is welcome 🫶🏻

So my recently turned 10 month old has just started throwing his head back and making his body rigid when he’s not happy about something - like being put in his play pen, being taken for a nappy change/ nap etc. I’m worried of him doing it and hitting his head hard or worse being dropped (he is very big and heavy) - there has been a few near misses already.
He has also bitten me a few times in the last month (he’s got opposing teeth so really hurts) - luckily that seems to be lessening.
Just wondering if others are/ did have similar experience with their LB? Is it normal to start tantrum type behaviour at this age? And if so how do you react to it?

If your toddler 2 years wakes up at night and you know it’s a regression and they’re not crying just making whining noises and other sounds would you go into his/her room or just wait for them to fall asleep again even if it takes up to an hour?

FTM to a one month old and we want to travel to visit family so they can meet the baby. The drive is only 4 hours away but online keeps saying to take breaks etc because its dangerous to have the baby in a car seat for more than 2 hours at a time. Anyone been thru something similar? And what did you do?

I just needed to rant and get this out.
I’m 5 months postpartum on the 21st and I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own skin. I look in the mirror and barely recognise myself.
I’ve tried different things, I’ve changed my hair, try doing my makeup, bought new clothes and it all seems to make me feel worse.
And the weird thing is, it’s not my c section scar or my stretch marks that are actually bothering me, I can admire they gave me my beautiful son. It’s literally EVERYTHING else about myself I just hate looking at myself in the mirror!
I don’t think it helps that I feel so lonely, I don’t feel like many people understand what I went through with my labour and what I’m going through MH wise now and just think I’m being ignorant but I physically don’t have the mental capacity to message people everyday and be in constant conversation but yet I crave human interaction and friends.
Does everyone feel this way at first and when does it go away?

Has anyone made a switch overnight rather than a gradual change? If so how did your baby react. My baby girl is 3 months and I’m planning to switch. She’s exclusively bottle fed.
