So my recently turned 10 month old has just started throwing his head back and making his body rigid when he’s not happy about something - like being put in his play pen, being taken for a nappy change/ nap etc. I’m worried of him doing it and hitting his head hard or worse being dropped (he is very big and heavy) - there has been a few near misses already.
He has also bitten me a few times in the last month (he’s got opposing teeth so really hurts) - luckily that seems to be lessening.
Just wondering if others are/ did have similar experience with their LB? Is it normal to start tantrum type behaviour at this age? And if so how do you react to it?

Wish I had better advice but my 10 month old has just started this aswell!! Your not alone!

We’ve had the same recently, I don’t know if it’s the right approach but I usually give my baby a snack or a new toy and it distracts him enough that he forgets about the tantrum! For biting I say no no no and give a teething toy or Teddy to bite instead xx

Mine started at 8 months. We do a firm No! or a distraction x

My baby has been biting since 6 months, on and off depending on teeth coming through. She’s now 10 months and will bite for no apparent reason, I give her a firm no and she laughs in my face🤣 she’s also started going rigid and screaming when I try to put her in her high hair or change her nappy. I think it’s all part of their development as my 8 year old was also the same at this age x
We found our baby is a baby girl this weekend.. I have been convinced she was a girl the entire pregnancy so it wasn’t a shock at all but just hearing it officially… of course I love her and I’m not evil, it’s just a lot to adjust and I am feeling really stressed and a bit sad really. I feel guilty that I’m not as excited as I should be and currently don’t want people to know because I’m not ready to be super happy about it yet.
I have always pictured my life with a son one day and, for very personal reasons and life experiences, I feel a lot of stress when thinking about protecting and raising a baby girl in this world which I’m sure people can relate…
I am worried about protecting her, I am worried about not feeling the same bond from her as a son, amongst a multitude of other things. I am not feeling excited to buy frilly dresses or go to dance classes and I know it will all settle and logically I won’t imagine life without her and I do love her, it’s just overwhelming me..
Any advice… 🌸

Hi mamas!!
I’m currently looking for cars as i go back to work in a few months.
I don’t want a huge car as i hate driving them but want a decent sized one to be able to fit all my baby’s things - ie car seat with isofix and pram.
I only have 1 child but need something reliable.
Could you give me any suggestions? x

Hi all, my baby is almost 6 weeks and in the past few days have been a real struggle as I breastfeed him, he temporarily falls asleep on me than suddenly wake up and cries non stop. No hunger or cold/warm temp or gassiness involved I believe - I tried also putting them in any position (on me as well), but nothing really works.
Quite sleep deprived therefore - both of us.
Anyone having something similar at month 2? How did you deal with it?
Any suggestion is welcome 🫶🏻

Has anyone made a switch overnight rather than a gradual change? If so how did your baby react. My baby girl is 3 months and I’m planning to switch. She’s exclusively bottle fed.
