I have always coslept with my daughter who will be 3 in May. I love cosleeping and it just feels right and if it wasn’t for baby #2 I wouldn’t stop however I have to be realistic, cosleeping with both children will be difficult, I am going to side cart cot for the newborn but still not ideal for breastfeeding and swapping sides in the night. Anybody have any tips on how to encourage my daughter to sleep on her own? We both currently sleep in a floor bed in bedroom. TIA

Hi both my first and second co-slept with me for about a year before going into their own rooms if your worried about her potentially having some anxiety or fears over it start slow separate bed in the same room and over time then move her to a different room she will probably need alot of reassurance maybe also leave lights on and read her a book and make it clear if she needs you, your in the same room or I'll be in 'mummy's room'

This popped up on my feed. I have a 3yo and baby. I stay with baby in one room and he sleeps with husband in another room. He does wake up and come into my room if my husband is downstairs. We have been talking about his own bed and making his room exciting but he's not readt. But thinking to just do it and persevere with the wake ups.
