I don’t have great tips other than the swaddle, dark room and yoga ball- i just invested in great noise cancelling headphones and some audiobooks and am riding the wave.

What’s worked for us is I’ll cradle hold him in our rocking chair & hold a pacifier in his mouth (as he can’t quite keep it in on his own yet). Or if he’ll let me set him down, I’ll put him in the bassinet, rock the bassinet with one hand and help him keep the pacifier in his mouth with the other hand. He almost always falls asleep with the pacifier in his mouth. If tired but not closing his eyes I’ll put a soft burp rag or cloth over his eyes and it calms him down & forces him to close his eyes when I know he’s overstimulated & overtired (I remove the covering from his eyes as soon as he’s falling asleep). This plus white noise!

Bouncing on the yoga ball helps us a lot. Sometimes just a reset too. If he’s awake and won’t sleep I’ll take him out of his sleeper and have some free time of not trying to get him to sleep (helps me too take a break) and then half a bottle with the sleeper again and the ball or chair. Other times we just struggle lol
