Anxiety attack- Overwhelmed

I just had my first anxiety attack/mental breakdown for the month and I’m feeling extremely drained. I have three under five and I’m 24 years old. Sometimes my reality just doesn’t feel like my reality. I’ve also recently got my cycle back at four months postpartum. today I was with my kids and I just got very overwhelmed and honestly lost my shit. I had a lot to get done and I’m also a full-time college student. I go back to work the first Monday of May and honestly I’m not mentally prepared. I called my mom maybe an hour ago (11pm) and asked if she could watch my kids this weekend because I’m feeling the urge to harm myself and I’m extremely overwhelmed on the verge of checking into a mental institution in the background. My dad is in the background saying “wow there’s some cruel people in this world that’s bullshit. She shouldn’t have had kids if she couldn’t handle it” he’s also stated that I’m addicted to getting pregnant, all of my pregnancies were unplanned, and I am married and just talking crazy about me like I’m not on the phone and that was honestly my breaking point because as a father, why would you say something like that? I took a long shower and just laid in the bath crying and honestly I don’t even want to drop my kids off over there anymore just because of how negatively he spoke about me.

I have chronic fatigue syndrome & a mum who still calls me lazy because of it so I get how hurtful it is having a parent who doesn't get you. Every parent gets overwhelmed sometimes & we all need a break & support sometimes & that's without mental health issues on top of everything so it's ridiculous to say you shouldn't have had kids because of it! His stupid & ignorance is showing. You were strong enough to ask for the help you needed, that's showing what a great mum you truly are.

Screaming while burping

Does anyone else’s 13 week old scream the place down like you’re murdering them the second you take the bottle out of their mouth to burp them?

Pushchair vs carrycot

Has anybody put their bay in the seat attachment yet or are they still in the carry cot. My baby is really nosey and I feel like she’d benefit from being in the pushchair attachment so that she can see but I still feel like she’s small and should be in the carrycot. I know people with older babies who are still in the carrycot so I’m just not sure.

She cries when she’s in the carry cot but is really happy when I pick her up and she can look around. Think part of it is I’m not ready for her to be in the pushchair as it makes her seem like a bigger baby than she is.

Any advice would be appreciated

Why do people have such audacity?!

On vacation with my husband & our youngest baby (10 months). We’re walking down the street & this older lady sees my baby walking & asks how old she was & I answer. Then she says look at that hair & touches her head then immediately pats me on the back & says congratulations. While I’m sure there was good intent, why do random people feel entitled to touching a strangers baby?! It happened so quickly I didn’t even get a chance to react before realizing what had transpired. Would this peeve you?

I just feel like I’m failing

I’ve never felt so deflated and rejected in my life. This last week has just been horrendous. I had mastitis and now my 4 month old has been on a nursing strike all week so she’s hardly feeding. I feel like we used to have such a great bond, she was always smiling and chatting to me and now I just get screamed at most of the day while everyone else gets the smiles. What am I doing so wrong? Why does she hate me so much? I just don’t know what to do anymore because nothing is ever enough or seems right for her.

I just want my smiley, chatty girl back who would eat for the whole day if she was given the chance. I’m completely heartbroken

When is milk supply established?

I'm currently 3.5 weeks pp and I'm still doing about 2-3 pumps from midnight to 7am to get milk supply production going and up, in addition to breastfeeding/ pumping every 2-3 hours in the daytime. It is tiring me out particularly with the early hours pumping. When is milk supply established so I can start to reduce the number of pumping or lengthen the gap of pumping?
