I think my 2 year old would really benefit from eating with us at the table. I know it’s not required for all kiddos but I think it would help.
I just can’t work out how to get dinner on for 5/530 for everyone.
He largely eats toddler type dinners that I can often throw together quickly. I just can’t work out how to make adult / toddler dinner ready for 5/530 when I’m technically working from home till 5.
I do have some flexibility to chuck things together while I’m at home and of course could meal prep but I’m quite overwhelmed.

Slow cooker!

Have a toddler dinner too and eat your real one later on

So I always eat with the kids because no way am I eating twice.
Meal prepping, slow cooker and pasta are my go tos.
before I take kids to school I put stuff in the slow cooker or on the weekend I make a few things ready for the week. I often make double we need and freeze the other half for later.
You just need to think about it a bit and you’ll be fine.

My little boy has always eaten what we eat and we always eat together but don’t usually eat till half 6 (I work till 6) so he has a snack about 4 ish which keeps him going till dinner. Slow cooker is a god send too
